Nmrih Fan Trailer

The No More Room in Hell mod is a total conversion modification for the game Half-Life 2. It pits a small group of human players against a overwhelming horde of undead, flesh eating zombies. The mod takes place in a small mid-western city in the United States. There, the humans must try to escape the city alive by any means necessary. This means that the use of vehicles will be crucial to survival against the undead.
The mod is co-op, which means that you will be playing side by side with other people from around the world to fight the zombies, which are computer controlled NPCs. Because the mod is using Half-Life 2's Source gaming engine, we hope to make this one of the scariest and most frightening mods to date.
In this modification we plan to use the full extent of Half-Life 2's physics for ultimate game play. To put this in example form we have plans for a wooden bat that will break after heavy use. We also plan on taking advantage of the advanced map sizes for large cities and open areas, even though most the game is planned to be urban combat.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have updated the Screenshots section of the website to include a selection of images from one of our current maps in progress "Outpost 31". PogoP is the mapper currently assigned to this map, which is based on level design found on the forums (here). Please keep in mind that this map is still in progress and has yet to include the new custom textures or models we have planned for it. For those of you who have not already visited this thread you can see not only the map's floor plans, but also descriptions for the various rooms and a story describing the map's plot. "Outpost 31" involves an Antarctic research station and how an emergency medical evacuation turns into a fight for survival.
Here are a few of those screenshots:
We plan to have more map screenshots soon, especially new ones from Dark and his work on "The Subway". We should be seeing those within the next few days so look forward to it.
Also, I wanted to take a moment to mention that the website's FAQ has also recently been updated to reflect the new design documentation for the mod. It should help to answer a few more questions you might have about "No More Room in Hell".
We are also looking for new and dedicated team members to join us. If you have skills in modeling, animating, skinning, mapping, coding, or anything that you think could help the mod just PM Cs42886 on the forums with samples of your work.

this seems to be a pretty cool mod :)
just hurry!!!!!
i u have no more decent zombie mods give killing floor a try, well worth it
While it is great to see NMRIH moving past the 3 year mark, I cant help but be skeptical towards their recent announcment.
I feel as if they may have planned this all along, hype up the community to what can be expected, then slash it down towards the intial release.
Dont get me wrong, I still plan on indulging in the mutilation of zombies. But I really wanted to baricade my little area from them, I wanted to fight to the death while in Classic Mode.
Fighting NPC zombies with the cooperation of human players.... im sure the atmosphere will make it stand out incredibly, yet I honestly question what makes this so differnt from the server side mods we see in counter-strike, or some of the maps made in hl2 coop.
Maybe Im just a conspiracy Theorist, but im still a bit dissapointed by this recent development.
Keep up the good work guys ;)
This sucks, I have no good zombie mods to play until this comes out.
I recomend everyone to visit their website, were the real sweat stuff is shown ;)
