The No More Room in Hell mod is a total conversion modification for the game Half-Life 2. It pits a small group of human players against a overwhelming horde of undead, flesh eating zombies. The mod takes place in a small mid-western city in the United States. There, the humans must try to escape the city alive by any means necessary. This means that the use of vehicles will be crucial to survival against the undead. The mod is co-op, which means that you will be playing side by side with other people from around the world to fight the zombies, which are computer controlled NPCs. Because the mod is using Half-Life 2's Source gaming engine, we hope to make this one of the scariest and most frightening mods to date. In this modification we plan to use the full extent of Half-Life 2's physics for ultimate game play. To put this in example form we have plans for a wooden bat that will break after heavy use. We also plan on taking advantage of the advanced map sizes for large cities...

"911, please state the nature of your emergency."
That's how it all began. Call after call came into the precinct until we had patrol cars scattered throughout the city. Assault, murder, rioting, it was as if one morning the world woke up crazy. But we had a job to do and we did our best to handle every situation. If only we had known at the time what was going on. I mean, what were we supposed to think? If someone had told you that the walking dead were eating people alive, what would you have thought? We couldn't make any sense of the reports until it was already too late. By then those officers that were left, or at least those of us from the eastside precincts, heard survivors were taking refuge at the local hospital. Hopefully if we got there in time we could organize some kind of defense... but what if we're already too late?
In addition to the new character models from Spajsat, we also wanted to share these in-game screenshots showcasing some of our new weapon models, the Browning Hi-Power and MP5, along with how the "iron-sight" will work for accurately aiming at zombies. In this case, the player's view when staring down the barrel of the Browning HP.
Due to the fact that players are ordinary civilians in most cases, firing and hitting a target without carefully aiming first might prove difficult depending on their distance. Survivors are also reminded that, while the MP5 is one of the firearms they can acquire, only SWAT Officers will start equipped with them and players will, more often than not, retrieve their own from the corpses of the fallen.
I would also like to take a moment to mention that the team has recently picked up a nifty program called Overlord. It's a mod management tool which we highly recommend for mod developers looking to organize their project, as it's working great for us. Also on the topic of mods we would like to mention that we are always looking for new members, especially those with experience in character modelling,
character animation, prop modelling, and mapping. If you think you have what it takes then contact our Project Manager, Cs42886@gmail.com.
