Okay, a noob question. I've played all "No Hope" versions, and then got Soviet Assault (with Patch 10).
Which version do I now use: 1.65 or 1.67? Is the latter purely if you want to play online, or can I use 1.67 just playing against bots (as I usually do)?
I don't really want to have two copies of the mod and if 1.65 is the better version for "bot play", can you please tell me. And please forgive my ignorance.
It's ok man, I won't bite ur head off as long as you're reasonable. 1.67 is the newest version and it is compatible with update 10. In addition, you can play it either online or offline in skirmishes with bots.
I basically made balancing changes and corrected booboos from the older 1.65. I left 1.65 around in case you wanted to play online with someone who doesn't have the newest version yet.
madmonk do you also know how to get it to word with the steam version? please i wanna play it!!! It MUST be an awsome mod!! :D
and do i need some older version of the mod or is this the whole mod?

this is a great mod except some of the voice acting, but hey nothing's perfect
I had to make due with what I had, which is just me. Don't have the money to hire an actor to do the voices......Yeah, I just wanted the TAs and Units to say the right thing but when you don't have matching sound files for it you either have to make ur own or add ones that don't match. You know what I mean?
i don't know why... but the mod doesn't work and i've tried all possible installation paths including the path of the auto installer.
maybe it's because of the expension? or it could be a steam problem too (i buyed the game on the steam site). pls some1 help me!!

First of all: big fan of the mod. Really love the entire 'unleashing hell' on your enemies.
So. I'd like to propose to do the voice acting. I'm good at speaking English with a Russian accent (I did one year of Russian in college). I'm no professional but I'd do it professionally and with vigor. And maybe most importantly: for freeeeeeeee.

Oh paradox00 you need to extract the file with Winrar or 7-zip and then install it.

Its an exe, it does it for you noob -.-
I installed it and I see it in my mod folder but when I try to load a map the loading white bar stops like 80% of the way and the games freezes

i installed the mod too on the right place but i still can't play it i think it's because of steam but i am not sure.....

I'm currently using Vista and have just got WiC (not WiC:SA) patched up to 1.010. No hope doesn't appear in the mod menu though. Could someone please help me with this?

hi guys ive finished downloading this mod but idk wht to do i did wht most ppl said put it in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\World in conflict\Mods\NHv1.67_Installer but when i try to install it it goes to 87percent and stops? do i need to redownload it bdw plz reply to this XD :(?
be very patient and the mod will eventually finish installing, don't cancel the installation process because it will get hung up on 80% for 5 or ten minutes, but if you let it finish, it will install.

@han1847 ok this mod works for the original (soviet assault im not sure).
as with the installation i will write up in a sec, i dont know if its an .exe or a .zip/.rar the .exe will be farely simple, locate and install, the files could be more complicated
allright seariasly if someone is looking at the comments they need to help me understand this complex serios of downloads
ok reading the name of the download, it says its an installer therefore .exe packaged in a .rar. this means you'll need some sort of archiver like 7zip or winrar to open the file and run the .exe
