This is my first custom story I have ever made. I have been working on it for about 4 months, altought you might find some bugs, but please understand. You will not find cheap jumpscares and teleporting naked guys from here. This custom story doesnt really have a story in it. Just play and let me know in the comments what do you think, or even give ideas. :) Features: - About one hour of gameplay. - Fair scare tactics, (no jumpscares). - Detailed mapping. - Scary atmosphere, no overusing of monsters. - Made with time and patience, since it's my first. - Requires Justine DLC to this work properly. Mostly keyhunting and the jumpscares are not great like the creator said, but still not too bad..
I would class this story as a dungeon crawler more than anything, very labyrinth like structure, to the point where near the end you just want to get it over and done with. But it was pretty good! A few monsters to deal with, exploration required. What wasn't so great was the really abrupt ending, I guess he escaped? Although it didn't seem like it. Nonetheless a descent story, but can be a bit mundane. Good music distribution too.
Inability to run or even walk at a decent speed in certain areas made the beginning of this story THE most agonizing I have ever played and completely destroyed the mood. And the cellar map lagged so badly that I lost my patience completely and quit.
The fact that this is your first custom story makes a partial excuse, but there are some things I did not like. The long corridors, representing 'unused space', then all the notes were too simple or didn't include any text at all, monsters spawn when picking up a key - all of those are features of cheap custom stories. I have to admit, I still liked a couple of things, though. For instance, overall detail of mapping was quite satisfying (except for the long corridors and unused space) and it had none of those cheapest jumpscares.
Not too bad for your first CS, yet it could use some improvements. By the way, the cellar area was extremely laggy, but I believe my computer's too weak to handle that map. If it weren't your first custom story, my score would be 5/10.
Okay, so I played this one again and I don't know why I gave it such a low rating the first time. I thought it was pretty good and it didn't have any cheap jump scares. So thank you for making it and I hope to see more.

Atmospheric scare was ok for me but the cellar need to fixed because of logs...
Not too much scary scenes... Although it was a pretty hard map! It took a lot of time to solve all of the puzzles, so I'm going to have give you a 7! Keep up the good work, and be aware for some huge bugs (that I have encountered) and glitches!
Mapping and detail is very good. Puzzles are good. Scares good and this custom story does come without cheap, horrible jump scares, perfect! For this I rate 9/10
