In Nightmare House 2 you wake up inside an abandoned hospital with no understanding of how you came to be there, only a vague memory of the girl from Nightmare House haunts you. Soon it will be difficult to determine between a dream and reality. How long will it take you to realize that escape is not an option?

Very awesome mod! Extremely well designed. Great story and characters, my favorite was the squad leader that you run into about a third of the way through the game, he was badass!

1 of the criticisms I have was that NH2 seemed to copy some events from Silent Hill 3, but that's only during 1 part during the mod.

Aside from that the game was pretty spooky at times, a quality that I value in my games.

This mod is very well put together, it does not have jumpscares but builds up to the scare. One of the best way to give you chills to your core

I have no bad statements to make about the game, it's simply one of the most well-made mods i've ever seen, it's fun, scary, and it just deserves a rating this high. Great job!

Probably the best mod mod I ever played, definitely the best horror mod I've ever played. The graphics, textures, lighting, characters, were all superb. The Prologue though is sorta annoying because there are no directions (I had to use godmode, because I needed to take a through look around the map without getting killed :P), but really was done nicely.
The Story was amazing, everything made perfect sense, and the characters really moved things along. The AI was great except for those times were they get up in your face, and don't move for about a minute. The puzzles and the enemies were well balanced, and overall fun. The skins and weps were also very good, though the SMG was a bit weak and should have been tweaked a bit.
What I liked especially was the decaptation at certain times, which I felt is also the brunt of Zombie-esque games. This mod also really accomplished the sense of horror, and really left me scared after certain parts (especially when you have headphones on in the dark). Overall, this is not a mod to be missed, and should be played by all Horror game and FPS fans alike, it really bridges the gap between the two.

I know enough reviews have been made to justify this rating to where I need say nothing other than download, play, and **** bricks.

This mod was the best one i've ever played, and i'm not joking about that. The voice acting was great, and the little girl that kills you in the end if you decide to just leave the hospital is creepy as hell. I just beat it and i have to say, not as scary as I expected, but still an insanely fun mod. 10/10

Being forced to play through the proglogue was pretty boring and uneventful. This part of the game almost has nothing to do with the first part other then killing zombies and a chick running around and trying to jump scare you every five minutes.

Way too many times it tosses random objects at you, taking away too many hit point and making it easy as pie for enemies to beat you to death suddenly because the shelf in the room before hand, smashed you in the face then everything on the shelf took turns floating around you and there's nothing you can do about it unless you have played before and know exactly what to expect.

Relying on jump scares to get something out of the player gets very boring, very quickly.

Forcing the player to stop and wait for a cinematic scene to play out is very tedious and boring. The flash light goes out, you can't walk fast and the door is of course, locked. You can't see what they are trying to scare you with because the game at default is far too dark.

The surroundings drag on and on as your enviroment never changes, you see the same doors and hallways over and over again, a relentless grey and white path constantly surrounding you with blinking lights and static on television screens that make the player want to cut themselves to see something other then grey and white.

This isn't a popular review by far but perhaps one of the more honest ones. If you're going to make players tell you why they hate games though, here you go.
