As you may know Nightmare House 2 got the second place in MOTY, while the first place was a multiplayer mod, which means Nightmare House 2 is the best Singleplayer Mod of the year. 
So as a thanks I’ve decided to release the Nightmare House 2 source files, which means all the maps are now accessible and editable, the code, etc.
What does it means? It means anyone can look, learn, modify, and use stuff from the maps and the code. Just give us proper credit if you do!

PSS: People keep asking whether I’m going to make Nightmare House 3 –No, it won’t happen, the Nightmare House story is done the way we designed it. If anyone want to make an unofficial sequel in the Nightmare House universe you have my go, you have all the proper resources now.

I'm stuck outside the house (after passing several corridors and rooms), meaning that something is wrong with the mod. I'll try to play it again but it seems I've been in every (then) possible area and got out after less than 15 minutes. Now what?!

Not too happy with this. I finally get to be able to play it. As soon as I start it up, I get messages from my Virus Protector, telling me this game holds Trojans. 8 of them, to be exact.
Seriously, this is getting out of hand. Now, I'm getting Trojan messages every minute or so and I cannot delete the file from my computer. I know it's from this mod since it is specifically telling me it's coming from the folder.
Okay for any that had issues like me, where the game would not start at all. Need to install source sdk and source sdk base 2006 and 2007. then it will run :)
There is barely any Scary Mods For HL2 but Now I Finally Found One!
setup new computer everything working fine but for some reason this mod no longer works. pressing play put either does nothing and if I use the shortcut it will simply load up the steam client if steam is not running.

not sure if this information will help further for finding the issue as to why it won't run.
The shortcut the .exe makes has it location marked as the internet no actual file location. asking steam to make a shortcut does not fix the issue.
Yes have tried using the rar version still will not run :(
Having a constant crash issue, Appcrash, plaeyd it before and didn't have the problem. So I'm confused.
People, Desura unfortunately put the wrong game title. Bought Half-Life 2 only, and it doesn't work. The website of this game states that we need Half-life EPISODE 2 to play it. Hope this is the answer., according to zmab95.
