I think the animations and modes are looking good, also nice gun dropping trick, although I would agree with Mrksmt9, the maps look pretty bad (lighting, texturing, bland, bare).
Nice trick with the jumping on the guys back by the way.
Well first of all Speed, the game looked to run extremly fast, running undirectionaly into things like peple and corridors, seem like you were flying through the levels. Design, every room looked very similair, all sqaure design, every widow had no border, difference and everything seem to look the same, with the odd touches of textures, that also looked plain and simple... thought, the story from what i heard wasnt all that, and once again i felt like misdirected, and yer that was just from the looking at the video. I look forward to improvements but doubt that this will make any significant stand in the HL SP world.
I thought it was pretty cool. The map was more for area effects and could use some better lighting in areas. Some are way too dark and some are way too bright. Great sounds. The weapon models won't kill me or make me blush but no real complaint.
Will you have a classical music theme throughout the game or was that only for the trailer?
Also, were those audio sequences activated by proximity to a script initiator or do you have random or scripted conversations from your bots?
the music was solely for the trailer, to set the mood. The only music in the mod will be found in the end credits ( i am not a fan of music in FPS games )
the sentences from the terrorists are from the AI (vry silimar to HL marines). There are also spripted sentences/sequences throughout but i've spent a lot of time balancing it out so hopefully it wont feel too scripted.
Mrksmt9: Glad you clarified your thoughts, but I dont think its fast at all. Its standard HL player speeds, though the terrorists are quite deadly. And where exactly where I running into things in the video? As for the borderless windows; most of the windows do have borders. The ones that do not are incomplete maps and will be updated in not done already.
just echoing what was said earlier - mapping needs a lot of work, as do a couple of models. Code looks solid, perhaps reorganising the sprites that show when you've picked something up?
My response is basically jacksonj04's. Judging from the trailer, the coding looks good, but the map structure is a little bland, and the models could use some work.
Nevertheless, it looks to be worth a download when it's released.

Every area was terrible for lighting, architectures, speed, design, thought, and this just looked aweful.

It's called a fast paced game dude...
