New York City makes a great setting, especially for zombies. Why not a campaign for L4D set in various places in Manhattan?

Description

Save the "I know how to map.. here's my advice" bull.
I know what I'm doing, Don't make assumptions.
Some of you act like you've never seen a WIP.

It looks this way because not only is it FAR from finished, cause I haven't even finished the entire outline of walls and such... but holy shit do you realize how much work it is to build 13 million sq feet of Times Square? You don't have anything nice to say, shut the f@#% up.

If you see gaps in walls on the exterior, or entire missing segments.. it is because everything that isn't textured has a nodraw face.. and not a DEV texture.. so its invisible.

The purpose of the lighting is to help you see better the definition, cause in fullbright it is hard to tell what you're looking at sometimes.

This building I am making IS real. Not made up. Nothing is original, meaning I have not customized anything so far to deviate from the building. I'm doing a replica.

Marriott Marquis - Google it, view it in Google Earth too. Visit their website. Perhaps those who look at an unfinished map and say "it sucks" can get an education on the building and see just how much effort has gone into remaking it accurately.

First floor aka street level.. needs a lot more work, but I've made a lot of progress in one day today. If you compare some of the more finished areas to the REAL thing, you'll be amazed.

The elevator goes up to the 8th floor. That is where the hotel lobby is, and begins the huge atrium. If you don't know what an atrium is, visit wikipedia or do some googling.

There are only 3 accessible floors in this map.

1, 8, and 45. You will take floor 45.. which is an observatory on the roof.. down to the 8th floor. From 8th floor, I'll create an objective in order to make it down to the 1st.

When you reach the 1st floor, this will be the transition point to the next level.

Next level of course is the streets of time square.
