Formerly meant to be a L4D campaign, I am making various retro NY settings in highly detailed 3D for the Unreal 3 Engine.

Unreal 3 engine is free, and so is this project. Without buying any games (like you have to do when its a mod), without spending one penny.. You'll be able to walk around inside the World Trade Center again as it was 25 years ago.

You'll be able to see Times Square before the urban renewal of the 90s.

Unreal 3 Engine provides maximum quality. See this video of Unreal 3 in action.

Source engine, I do not miss you. :V

Help is welcome.

Did anyone here capture any photos or videos of the World Trade Center?

I'm having trouble finding references for the lobby of the towers in general. Most shots are viewing the windows/exterior columns, and not the interior. Majority of references are not the elevators, or showing the hallway in the center of the core that cuts through on the concourse level.

I'm trying to find stuff from 70s or 80s preferably, but even something from as late as 2001 will suffice, better than nothing.

Ask around will ya? It has me kinda stumped, because these blueprints only tell so much.

I'm ready to start detailing and texturing the inside, just need more references.

The sooner I get that done, I'll have a demo for you guys ;)

I'm releasing these so you can look at them or try building a little yourself. There is a large VTF texture included. It is needed for the "WTC" map...

As you go up the elevator, you should see thousands of zombies, that would be scary. It would be even more scarier if you had to fight them all...

I was working on a campaign similar to this one, but takes place inside the empire state building. Anyways, do what you got to do to make this campaign the best yet.

You don't need to buy anything. When I release this it will be free and stand-alone.

Also, I have to rebuild geometry. Can't use Hammer Brushes.

I'm just focusing on building WTC for now since I have entire blueprints for that.

If you need help in understanding NYC's layout a bit more, I literally live right next to Manhattan, over in New Jersey. I can be of some help.
