I'd make it less apparent. These tiles are actually pretty flat in the original station.

But I really do like it! I feel like I'm always criticizing people so please take this as just a tip. I could also recommend trying to do something to break it up by adding a tileable rock texture normal on top of it for "bigger" details

Also, what are you using for this? CrazyBump?

Thanks for the constructive criticism, it's always welcome :)

I'm still figuring some things out with parallax but once I get it right I'm sure it will look even better.

Oh and yeah I'm using crazy bump for this, but crazy bump doesn't really do so well with parallax maps so I'll probably have to make my own from scratch.

IF you want, send me a PM and we'll exchange Skype or whatever you might be using. I'm also using CB and there's a trick to using it effectively. But typing it out will take quite some time, hah.

Hey everybody, I've been busy lately with a new job so I haven't posted anything new lately, but don't worry I've still been working on STALKER :)

I'm fairly certain now that I want to do a texture mod like Absolute Structures for COP (as well as continuing with TAZ and maybe New Ordnance), so I've been messing around with some world textures. Check out the improvement I was able to get out of this Vanilla tiles texture in Yanov. I redid the bump maps, parallax maps, and specular maps as well as improved the mip maps thanks to Cromm Crauc's mip map script. I didn't even have to change the diffuse texture.
