The ‘New Jedi Order Compilation’ mod is a submod/total conversion for Thrawn's Revenge, set during the Yuuzhan Vong War and New Jedi Order era.

It will initially feature three main playable factions, 1) the Yuuzhan Vong, 2) the New Republic, 3) the Galactic Alliance.

I take *no credit* for any of the models/maps/particles/planets etc. I've just integrated them into one mod.

Update and good news!

Good news: the Yuuzhan Vong core space AND ground rosters are finished and in-game. There is some polishing and balancing to be done, but the faction is essentially complete. I'll post an article about their units soon.

Additionally, the last two New Republic ships I wanted to add have been put in the game (both for Kuat: the A9 Vigilance, and the KDY Republic-class Cruiser). This means the NR faction is done. The NR faction has too many units for one article to cover; but I will post more articles about the remaining subfactions (Kuat, Mon Calamari, Hapes, Bothawui) when I can, and an article on the core tech.

Now work is resuming on the Galactic Conquests and adding the new planets, heroes, unit variants, and new units that are specific to each GC.

For instance in the Vector Prime GC the New Republic player can build a few Tie Hunters from Destrillion and mixed-fighter squadrons scrounged together to defend Dubrillion. In the Dark Tide GC they can build some Imperial Remnant ships to defend Ithor with.

So adding all of this is the priority, but I will try and write some more articles soon or post pictures of each sub-faction's build tab at least.

Thank you, so have I! The Thrawn's Revenge mod is such a good base for a Vong-era submod, but the project has ended up expanding into a full-on total conversion for Imperial Civil War.

At the moment I'm adding the Vong heroes for the '25 ABY: Vector Prime' GC, then I need to add a few story scripts, and then that GC is done! So almost there.

Then I will begin work on the next GC: '25 ABY: Dark Tide' which will focus on the battles of Dubrillion, Dantooine and Ithor - and which will allow the New Republic player access to an Imperial Remnant taskforce led by Gilad Pellaeon.

Hopefully it won't be too long before the entire '25 ABY' pack is released (every GC which takes place in the first year of the war).

Hi mhlindseym, thank you! I am releasing the sub-mod in packs, starting with the '25 ABY' pack with all the GCs from the first year of the war. Each pack will add new GCs, new ships and new playable and non-playable minor factions.

The '25 ABY' pack will consist of four GCs. I have almost finished the first of these, and the others will be easier to produce as most of the new content is in game already.

The scope of the submod is huge. I think of Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War as being like a totally new game, and my submod is like a total conversion for that game.

I may go a bit quite on here for now a couple of weeks to get things done faster.

EDIT: I haven't looked into Steam workshop yet. Thrawn's Revenge have rules about posting submods and ask people not to reproduce the whole mod, so I don't know if submods will work on Steam.

Hi StephenG2014, they will! I haven't implemented any of them yet, but Nom Anor will be first (I'm producing the GCs and necessary units/heros/planets in chronological order). The only new, non-New Republic hero I've added so far is the fairly obscure Captain Grappa, who is the only Osarian hero.

I haven't looked into it yet - just trying to get the mod's content set up first. I only use the disk version so may have to enlist some help when it gets to that point.
