I like present our modyfication to the game Earth2160 created by polish studio Reality Pump. The NEP(New Earth Project- working title of the mod), is focused in bringing old units , atmosfere and that specific feel of older games created in Earth universe(like Earth 2140 , 2150 , the moon project , etc). But not only that. It is also some kind of experiment with is focused in showing what can be done in RTS games. Mod features: - New/old units from others game series, like Tiger for UCS , LBT(Pamir) for ED or cruscher for LC - Improved Fx - New maps created especially for this MOD(Also graphically improved) - Completely new gameplay. - New much clearer research system (Now you know waht you are researching.) - Diffrent build system for specific races. - Completely new reworked aliens, with much better morphing system(Morphoid player now “tech” like other nations...) - Old/New wepons technologies , with behave like as the ones from older games from this series . - Completely reworked a

The list of all in-game playable units(but not HEROES)

The End list of all playable units(buildings and heroes will be in the next post)-part1 of 4(first goes UCS)

There is one major difference in NEP units desing that wos in orginal Earth 2160.
Because there wos a high problem with the Ai(but also players taht never play the mod) we decidet
that we need devide all units in to grups. First, have units that are predefinied. In the second grup there are units that can be simply caled prototypes.The prototypes can be equipted into any wepon or equipment that class of unit can have. For example: For UCS_RAPTOR plyer can add one chosed wepon on the nose of the unit end one on the main cassis.But that is't the end of posibilites. The player can also select with commponents; like shields, armor, anti-rocket system(flares),and special equipment add(that last equipment in the list can realy make a difference in combat because normaly raptor class can't clock itself but adding stelth can change that). Of course that is only one option of the many posible.
The First group(predefined) is different.Player can produce it , but can't equip them in anny form.

So we have system that have both old 2140 units(predefinied) and system that alow custom creation.
We belive that choseing this solution, both thous players that like creation and thous that like only fight will be pleased.

UCS:

light Infantry: main infantry in the game.Has ability to take enemy structures , as AA or Anti tank devision. It's main adventage is the price and fuctinality. The disadventage is the HP. Becouse in nep infantry is produced by groups(not single soldiers- but Raptorad should describe this more , becouse he is the main person that develop this script.)

Heavy infantry: Heavy suport human tank units .They can't ake ennemy structures or be transported by transport units. However you will use it mor often taht light infantry becouse they can surviwe mor direct fire than any other units( even some tanks).The only disadventage is the price.

Fast atack infantry(only ED and UCS have it)-The atack drones are the fastest ground units in the ucs arsenal. Its speed alow thous realy small, light infantry for quick and devastating rides.

Battle stations:Heavy defens against fllet , ground units fighters , bombers. The perfect solution if you want god defence in one place(staions can move but they are realy slow).The main disadventage is price and the fact that they take command points(like other units).

Satelites: Your eyes and ears - mainly spying units. The armed satelite for the other hand is the most deadly wepon(and stelth). It can come in complite silent to the enemy base and then bring the devastating blow ...(realy heavy wepon carriers for exemple nukes(ED) plasma orbital borbardment cannon(UCS))
