Mission Statement:
Neotokyo is a first person shooter that aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting.
Background Story and World:
Neotokyo takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai.

So after being quiet for so long, a new site has gone up with 64 pieces of brand new media from the Source version of this mod. I encourage you all to stop by and have a look, maybe stop by the forums or IRC while your at it.

Man. This is definitely going on my 'Must Play Mods' list. The artwork and style is incredible, the atmosphere seems so immersive, the backstory is so rich I think I blew a fuse in my brain thinking of all the possible branches the story could follow. You sir have a great idea. Great ideas are like wine, they mature with time. Give this idea some time, don't rush it, please don't rush it. Neotokyo could just as well have the same quality as that of Half-life.

To clarify, someone's going to get this ModDB page updated soon. Ironically many key people for this mod don't have privileges to do updates here. That will be sorted out.
Yeah, its pissing me off. We keep getting really vague posts over at FPSBanana of new never before seen screenshots of NeoTokyo with no description or quotes, but no updates whatsoever. The suspense is killing me!!
We are currently looking to relaunch our website and forums, we will probably do a moddb update when that happens since our new website will likely include a media gallery.
