NEOTOKYO° is a first person shooter that aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting. NEOTOKYO° takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai.

On behalf of Studio Radi-8, I just want to say how floored the team is with the support we've been given from our fans so far. It has been a long haul and your patience (or anticipation) has been appreciated as we work many a late night on Neotokyo. We want to do things right by you, and that's why we're making sure everything is in place before we let you play. After all, first impressions are everything right?
So to make sure we get as many players playing Neotokyo on release, we need your help. Help us get the word out by tracking/following/subscribing us in whatever way possible. Tell your friends. Hell, tell your enemies too!

It was Epic the first time I saw it, now I'm bored.
They should post more updates to rage you harder.
You know they ARE releasing soon after YEARS of working on it. I see no problem that they are posting more articles. Wait til after the release and you won't be bothered by frequent updates.

PS: I wonder if this requires Orange Box, since I have extra HL2 copy on Steam account which I could give to my friend so we could team up and against someone.

It's Ep1 but yeh OB SDK is available with any Source game purchase including HL2 and DM (purchased) so you can still play OB mods no problem. Looking forward to seeing you on the battlefield (missing a few limbs with a shocked look on your face of course).

Yeap, NT uses several custom shaders which would all break if we ported to orange box, just not worth it this late in the game. Besides I think everyone would agree NT looks and plays great as is on EP1 engine.
OB supports custom shaders now... *nudge nudge wink wink*

Besides if you wanna use any of the new spiffy stuff, just use the ENBSeries mod with it (the latest HL2 one Boris-vorontsov.narod.ru) and it'll come out looking the SH*T (censored so little children don't understand the word)

Yeah, getting the game up and running on Steam requires extra work. They sort of just want to release it first.
