NEOTOKYO° is a first person shooter that aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting. NEOTOKYO° takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai.

Well, it looks like its NEOTOKYO° is almost here, according to the official word from pushBAK on their site:

this mod will have bots?
It will not have bots. My guess is due to the amount of time required to program the AI.
Simple bots that mimic your actions aren't hard to do. But i think it's unlikely that it will have bots with the same capabilities as in counter-strike.

Perhaps if you followed this mod siense the start you wouldn't say that, This mod has come a long way, Listened to it's community and made it's community loyal.
Truly, I believe you are wrong, and I cannot wait for this mod!
What? How is he wrong? For one thing that's an opinion and opinions can't be wrong; as for what he said, there have been many games and mods in the past that look amazing, but once you play them they aren't really that great. I'm not saying this is one of those mods, but you can never know until you play it. Even then it's an opinion whether it's good or not so it doesn't really matter, and no one will be wrong for saying it's a bad mod.

I'm downloading this for the music.
Some of the music found on the CDs not provided in the game are actually really good. Plus the bitrate of the CD version is far higher than any MP3 will offer. I'd urge you to get the CD.

What the hell? How did I miss this mod? Without a doubt the greatest Source Mod I've seen yet, besides maybe GarrysMod (But really, that is EVERY mod....). I just need to know one thing though, HOW DID YOU DO THOSE VIDEO EFFECTS? The ones where you were sweeping from one persons view to the other? I've never seen someone do that for a source mod trailer before without it being CGI.
Most of the shaking and such looks like post processing. The slow motion and camera movements can be done in source if you record it using a Demo.

And holy god I want this mod so bad. The standard of work is outstanding, and it looks hella fun to play. I know i'll be terrible at it, but then I'm terrible at all FPS games :D

So the ghost was totally inspired by Björk's "All Is Full of Love" right? Picture perfect.
i can not wait for this mod! it looks like High quality work compared to some other TC mods for HL2. i would rate it 9/10 right now because i do not know how the game is like,etc.

Unique problem that I will certainly have high ping :p I just hope I find some servers from my country x.x ... or at least near of it.
The Source engine is actually very capable with pings and such. I've seen games where the server is hosted in the US and people from Japan are getting a ping of 200. Not great granted, but better than other engines might offer (upwards of 400-500).
