Neo Cario is a very good mod, coming from the minds of Team Orbit. It is the prequel to a new
game, Orbit Wars. Neo Cario tested out their idea's on the first Unreal Tournament. The engine was pushed to the limit, and with my
slow computer, I had to tone down the configuration to be able to play the mod smoothly. Read on the find out the nitty gritty bits about
the mod.

The GraphicsIn this catagorie, Team Orbit have done beautifully. The HUD, player models, and the weapons are just amazing and just ooze
professionalism. Textures for the maps weren't all original content though, as half of them where the standard Unreal Tournament ones.
The HUD had a nice techy look to it, with wires traveling around the boxes and the like. The HUD also changed depending on what
vechicle, or battle suit you are in/wearing. The saddest part of the graphics, and the whole mod really is the lack of detail, or just good
design in some of the maps. They are overally plain, and could use some added polishing up before they where released.

The Sound FXFuturistic sounds aren't easy to do from my experience in the modding comunity, and since Neo Cario is set in the future, they must of had
a tough job to do the sounds they have. Espicially when you are also adding vechicles, mechs and battle suits in. However, they have
done the best job they can and have made great results. The laser sounds are a bit cartoony however, but don't lower Neo Cario's
gameplay at all.

The GameplayGameplay in Neo Cario is remarkable. Just imagine a Team Deathmatch game, with you on the human team, against a team of aliens.
You go grab some weapons and start slaughtering off the alien foe's. Run up to a console and get yourself a vechicle. Jump in, and
then you can run around the map blasting aliens with the added protecting of the vechiles armour! Neo Cario aslo includes different player
classes for you to spawn as. This is a bit annyoing however, as its changed in the menu interface, so your stuck with the one player class
throughout the game. The 4 main different player classes as a standard human or alien, and a human mech, and alien on a kind of creature.
Much like riding a horse. You can get into the different vechicles in-game, and they all have different weapons are armour. Some of the
best vechicles are the huge mechs. Sitting at one end of a map with one of these towering monsters running towards you with weapons
blazing is a scary site indeed. All standard Unreal Tournament gametypes are included with Neo Cario support. A few extra different
gametypes are also there, but I couldn't really find any differences. A bit more support from the community would also be great to get
some servers up, because bots don't use mechs, and can get rather boring after a while.

Final WordNeo Cario is a wonderful mod. The effort the team has put in is astounding, even when they are Hollywood artists. Orbit Wars, which is
the real deal behind this mod is looking to be largly successfull, and the team has plans for merchendising and a TV series to follow suit.
Without a doubt, Neo Cario is one of the most amazing mods out there, but still lacks some detail in some area's.
