Total Conversion for Oblivion: "Nehrim - At Fate's Edge" is a finished Total Conversion for the RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That means it is a self-contained game that bases upon the Oblivion game engine, but has no relation to Oblivion's lore. It is a world in which neither Tamriel nor any other TES based name exists. The continent itself on which the game is situated is called Nehrim, it is completely independent from the base game. Nehrim was developed by the Sureai Team (www.sureai.de). We have already created two Total Conversions for Morrowind, named Arktwend and Myar Aranath, but unfortunately there never was an English version of them. This time, however, we will develop an English version of the project with translated texts and German voice acting.
Nehrim... Nehrim has got to be the best mod ever created for TES IV Oblivon. In my opinion, it's miles better than the actual Oblivion game was.
It has a better story, better enviorment, better objects and is just so amazing.
Around every corner of the Nehrim world, you can see something new. Something wonderful, such as a small village, or just a random thing you wouldn't expect to find.
The whole game is beautiful, and there is so many different regions, in the time iv had the mod for (since it came out), I still haven't managed to explore them fully.
Inside the city of Erothin, you can see one of the most, realistic, immersive cities ever made for Oblivon. It's just so stunning.
I have to give Nehrim a rating of 10/10 because it's just so breathtaking to play.
A massive thumbs up to SureAI for making such an awesome mod. :D

OUTSTANDING QUALITY. I can't believe this is a mod turning Oblivion in the experience it should've been - for free.
The world seems real and alive, the quests are clever and interesting .... it corrects most if not all the flaws that annoyed me in vanilla... thank you so much, this mod will give me some more sleepless nights.
This mod is no longer a mod... it is a whole game, made in Oblivion.
I have played allot Elder Scrolls and was very pleased when I saw this perfect mod. Every one could try this mod, I found some few glitches, but they weren't very dangerous for my opinion because the rest is so well made.
Story: 10/10 The story is the best I have ever seen in a mod.
Gameplay: 9/10 It is well made, but i felt i needed more "mini-quests"
Textures: 9/10 It is actually better textures than in the real Oblivion (seen with eyes and pixel check [720p]
Effects: 10/10 It is some pretty cool effects all over the game, and very advanced scripts in the story for making these effects
Glitches: 10/10 It is very few glitches, and the only I found was when i "looked for them"
Mod Develop: 10/10 You should really get some awesome price for this Mod, I play RPG maybe 10 times a year, and this was really worth it, thanks for the MOD ;D
Overall: 10/10 please folks try it... It is really worth the time installing, if you don't have Oblivion... buy it and you will get two awesome games for the price of one ;D
(I'm sorry for bad english... I'm Norwegian, thats a good reason)
Nehrim was my first Oblivion mod and i'm speechless. Nehrim is a very detailed world which is made with a lot of love.
The story is damn good and it catches you for more then 40 hours.
Nehrim and Oblivion, i can't say which of them made more fun to play.
I've got only 20 hours into Nehrim so far, but it is not only a fantastic mod, it's one of the best RPG's I've ever played. It's way better than Oblivion (and I put over 200 hours into Oblivion).
- Story, quests
- Loot/item/balance system. Oblivion's was terrible. Nehrim's seems very good so far.
Room for improvement
- The interface is clunky. It would be nice to have a quick menu/etc for changing spells and weapons.
- Some stability issues. The game will freeze/crash. I use quick save a lot.
