Nehrim - At Fate's Edge" is a work in progress Total Conversion for the RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That means it is a self-contained game that bases upon the Oblivion game engine, but has no relation to Oblivion's lore. It is a world in which neither Tamriel nor any other TES based name exists. The continent itself on which the game is situated is called Nehrim, it is completely independent from the base game.
Nehrim is developed by the Sureai Team (www.sureai.de). We have already created two Total Conversions for Morrowind, named Arktwend and Myar Aranath, but unfortunately there never was an English version of them.
This time, however, we will develop a full translated english version of the project. That includes translated texts as well as English voice acting.
It is impossible to give a sure release date at this moment, however, we aim to finish Nehrim in 2009. We always keep everything within the bounds of possibility and currently make huge progresses in building the countryside, cities, forests and villages of Nehrim.
Our aim is to create a fantasy world which is as lively and atmospheric as realisable in the limits of our possiblilities. We primarily develop Nehrim for those players who love RPGs and were disappointed by Oblivion on that score. Nehrim will be a role playing game with elements of action, no action game with elements of role playing games.
The search is on to find the hottest mod of 2009, so if you
believe this is the one - vote for it. Everybody can vote all
they want, however, guest votes only count in the event
of a tie. For rules, prizes, movies & more - head on over
to the official 2009 awards page. Good luck to all!

Not all good Mods were made by german players, but this thing really deserves the "Made in Germany" logo on it.
I hope it rocks like they're last mod for Fallout 3.
Maybe they could also make an mod for Daggerfall after this?
Would be an great thing for sure. ;)
So judging from the trailer you guys are using pre-existing oblivion models combined with some custom made ones. Looks interesting I'd say just make sure you have English subtitles when you release it would be nice although I'd be willing to wait for a full English release
Making a whole new Oblivion? lol.
How come all awesome mods are developed by Germans?hehe :P
ever heard of "Made in Germany" Quality ? :D
Actually not^^ haha :P
Is it... is it what i think it is.... dead?
Modding takes time, and the Devs are trying their best to complete the mod the way they want it to be done.
no it is not dead and it wont die....
So are you guys still making progress? Would love even a minor update!
