Description.

This scene pack emerges as a solution to replace the boring and incomplete Native town scenes with new, open, immersive and unitary ones. The design of the new scenes allows the player to experience the gameplay on a new level and make the scenes feel alive. The scenes in cause use the maximum terrain size, which allows the placement of full town environments. Currently, the Native module uses completely different scenes for walking around the streets and besieging. I don't really like that, and I intend to gradually replace them with new ones. I hope that this innovation will change your experience. You have to understand that this is a very big and complex project, and it will take a lot of time to complete.

This pack includes all the Nord, Swadian, Vaegir towns and partially, the Sarranid ones (Shariz and Durquba), which have been completely overhauled, and contain all the features listed below.

List of overhauled towns:

- The Kingdom of Nords:
Sargoth;
Tihr;
Wercheg.

- The Sarranid Sultanate:
Shariz;
Durquba.

- The Kingdom of Swadia:
Suno;
Praven;
Uxkhal;
Dhirim.

- The Kingdom of Vaegirs:
Reyvadin;
Khudan;
Curaw;
Rivacheg.

Next to be done: Ahmerrad and Bariyye.

Features.

• One single scene for each town. You walk in and besiege the same scene.
• The scenes are scaled to the maximum size (2 meter polygons).
• Fully complatible with Warband's default resources (Native).
• You don't need to install any graphical/flora mod to use this. It is also not recommended to use any.
• All the interiors have been reshuffled and enhanced, and the arenas have been overhauled. Essentially, all the scenes that have to do with a town have been modified in one way or another.
• The released scenes are fully ready to use and contain full AI meshes.
• You don't spawn under the noses (walls) of your enemy. You and your troops spawn far from the town itself, so you can actually manage them.
• The atmosphere of the town changes during sieges.

Hello everyone,
I have finally fixed the issue of low performance in forests for the Improved Battle Scenes pack. Now, the battles run very smooth with o problem whatsoever. Also, the strange behavior of troops going uphill on some maps has been fixed too. If you have already installed the battles pack, just re-download and replace the old .sco files with the new ones.

yup I followed the installation guide in the rar file I first copied the scn files then replaced the codes. That's all I have done. Maybe I did something wrong I don't really know. Also I only installed the town pack.

Try this scenes file. Just copy and replace.

Edit: Never mind. It looks like I have admitted a small and very stupid mistake in the .txt version. I have missed the last line of a code. Re-downloading the pack and installing the .txt code should fix it.

I keep getting an RGL error with the message: Number of passages for site note: exceeds 16
I only installed the towns version and did the text method, I am however trying to use it with my own modified version of the Phantasy mod which adds new towns/cities but keep the native towns aswell, any way I can fix this?

For towns only. You need to take in account that the RGL error was fixed though and the manual installation shouldn't cause problems anymore.

Does the mod have more than 22 towns?

Wait, I think I fixed it, the mod uses files from native ie. if you change malefaceyoung or something it changes it for the mod, so I edited the wrong scenes.txt. I edited the mod's scenes.txt which had elf_castle, orc_castle-etc. but uses the native scenes for the Calradian kingdoms. So I just went into native instead and did the installation process right and tested it with Dhirim-it works but it's floating...

EDIT: Also to answer the question it has I think 22+ towns yes, if that's still applicable, issue now is it's in but it's a bit wonky ie: Duquba has been swallowed by the sand and Sargoth is under the sea, I'll see if it works fine with native it might just be the mod.
Edit 2: It's a bit off in native too, must have screwed something up while I was copying the text codes...I need to be less impatient, I think I just replaced ALL the town codes rather than the overhauled ones maybe? Also thanks for the speedy response by the way.

Yes, the codes provided by me include absolutely all the town codes, including those overhauled and those which are not (therefore, Native towns), so in this case, you need to be more selective when installing the scenes. Doing it by bits (copying only the overhauled ones) might greatly help. I have also provided a list of the specific overhauled towns in the download link and their respective IDs, which may help you with finding out what you're installing exactly.

Edit: My Durquba works fine.

Yeah, I didn't notice that it was only certain towns and went through haphazardly, thank for the response though I didn't expect one on the same day, cheers.
