Description.

This scene pack emerges as a solution to replace the boring and incomplete Native town scenes with new, open, immersive and unitary ones. The design of the new scenes allows the player to experience the gameplay on a new level and make the scenes feel alive. The scenes in cause use the maximum terrain size, which allows the placement of full town environments. Currently, the Native module uses completely different scenes for walking around the streets and besieging. I don't really like that, and I intend to gradually replace them with new ones. I hope that this innovation will change your experience. You have to understand that this is a very big and complex project, and it will take a lot of time to complete.

This pack includes all the Nord, Swadian, Vaegir towns and partially, the Sarranid ones (Shariz and Durquba), which have been completely overhauled, and contain all the features listed below.

List of overhauled towns:

- The Kingdom of Nords:
Sargoth;
Tihr;
Wercheg.

- The Sarranid Sultanate:
Shariz;
Durquba;

Ahmerrad.

- The Kingdom of Swadia:
Suno;
Praven;
Uxkhal;
Dhirim.

- The Kingdom of Vaegirs:
Reyvadin;
Khudan;
Curaw;
Rivacheg.

Features.

• One single scene for each town. You walk in and besiege the same scene.
• The scenes are scaled to the maximum size (2 meter polygons).
• Fully complatible with Warband's default resources (Native).
• You don't need to install any graphical/flora mod to use this. It is also not recommended to use any.
• All the interiors have been reshuffled and enhanced, and the arenas have been overhauled. Essentially, all the scenes that have to do with a town have been modified in one way or another.
• The released scenes are fully ready to use and contain full AI meshes.
• You don't spawn under the noses (walls) of your enemy. You and your troops spawn far from the town itself, so you can actually manage them.
• The atmosphere of the town changes during sieges.

Installation.

This is so awesome. It will be incredibly epic when it is fully finished. (Well, it already is quite epic, it was something Warband always needed.)

But I have a few suggestions if you don't mind. (Well, I know you are busy, so no worries if these suggestions are not thins you wish to do.)

First, could you please add bandit lairs to your to do list? I always thought they needed a lot of improvement, mostly because they are rubbish as they are. Like, some or all of them supposed to have caves where the bandits are hiding, but for some reason caves are represented by a single black texture. Improved bandit lair maps with actual caves would be awesome.

Second, would you consider adding some animation to mix? You have added these awesome maps that actually give lived in feeling the original ones lacked, but NPC's in the game are not helping the matter. They are lifeless as ever. It would be amazing if you added some animations to villages, cities, taverns and feasts. I have seen some mods where they have added some peasant animations, where peasants would work on the fields, carry baskets and so on, your mod would benefit a lot from something like that. (And everyone already knows about the tavern animations, they are great too, but I always thought it would have been much nicer if they added some animations to the bartender as well, not to mention they do not add anything to the feasts. It would be awesome if you added something like that.)

Lastly, will you ever update Overland map? Mini versions doesn't represent your improved maps at all and some parts of the Overland map is a bit too square..

Either way, stay awesome.

Thanks. They technically are there, with a max. of 10/scene, but since the towns are so big, you don't get to see them too often.

It makes little sense there is no such an option where you can increase the battle size as much as you wish. (up to 150 without mods, as many as your computer can handle with mods) Is there any way to increase that number?

Make a copy of the Native module. There, you will have to open the SceneObj folder and paste the .sco files provided by me. After that, download this file File-upload.com. It contains scenes.txt. Copy it and paste it into that module folder. It will replace the original one.
