Welcome to Friday Update #16!
This week we're giving you an in-game look at some of our Arena Maps!.
We're showing the three arena maps that are going to be released with our first version. We realise that alot of the fun of Naruto is one on one dueling, so having some solid locations from the series that you could battle your friends against was a must. We chose what we felt to be the three most recognizable locations for dueling and made them playable! The levels range from very close combat (Kyuubi Lair) to moderate space (Preliminary) to a very open field (Chuunin Finals). So depending on how intense you want your action, you can pick the stage that suits you best.
I hope you guys enjoy this video of the maps to get an idea of their scale and a better all around look at them!

Im in love with your characters, but arenas are lacking. I know you are trying to stay true to the concepts, but they wont be fun to play in. Way to open and boring. perhaps change it up a bit.
like for prelimanary create craters in the floor like gaara just faught in there.
this would be eye candy and allow some cover for battles
you can still use the higher balcony around the arena or behind the hands for cover. gameplay is open and free that you need that extra space to be able to fight pretty well, especially w/ our melee system ^^ but that will all be revealed later.
I guess I will have to wait and see, because the balcony isnt cover (nothing to hide behind)and only have one major cover is bad lvl design but If yall have plans that I dont know maybe it will all work out.
the preliminary area was used a duel area in the show, where there wasn't major covering areas as well
wow I love naruto I liked that there is a half-life mod for naruto I woched all the episodes

no it would all have to be redone pretty much from beginning
goldsource engine is ace, HL only costs like $5 - £10 on steam; so if you really want to play it, it's not expensive to buy HL for it.
