Napoleonic Era is a renowned, fan-made modification for Age of Empires 3 and its expansions The Warchiefs and The Asian Dynasties. The mod intends to accurately illustrate the time from 1555-1815 by greatly expanding and reworking the game with new units, buildings, maps, sounds, music and civilizations. The mod has been founded in January 2006 by Alexander Fleger and is being continued by Peter Piepenburg since February 2010. It is still one of the most anticipated mods for Age of Empires III in the whole world.

Ow yes, I'm a guilty sinner!
Please forgive me, but it was necessary and it had to be done by anybody! Now NE has a facebook site and a twitter site. I decided to start a lil Social Media campaign, check it out!
We'll use facebook for announcements, linking news, making events (such as gaming events, release dates, ...), collecting different types of media, getting in contact with fans and and and ..

Twitter will be used for chatting with fans, answering their questions, work exhibitionism (all kinds of spoiling..). Also all updates on the facebook page will be shown on twitter (but not vice versa).

And what about Google Plus? Hu? - Well, Google+ doesn't support company pages yet or .. I didn't find anything like this. Thus the logo on the paper exactly tells what the situation looks like: I plan to make a page there in the future, but for now it remains a plan, a sketch only realized on paper. If you know any other way than just creating a new user account, leave me a note. ;)

Ow lol. Myspace. Haven't been there for ages. You remember it? That old social network site with a historical breakthrough, that has become an obsolete music page now. Therefore this will be put into the archive, no updates anymore on that page (last blog entry in April 2007, lol!). The last update was today, fought with the layout a lil and updated the About section. Bye bye Myspace!

Could you please make additional sub-mod which allows you unlimited units?
No, we won't. Unlimited units kill every multiplayer game. Especially older computers will squall in pain.

I was curious about why the Spanish nation was not kept in this mod. After all, we were the first ones to defeat Napoleon's army in open battle.
PS: I'm not ranting, just wondering. Great mod by the way.
Spain has not been removed. What you experience is a problem that we faced when modding the game. It allows only a limited number of AIs at the same time. The former NE team offered some kind of mechanism to get them back, but don't ask me how that was working. I'm eager to have the original AoE3 civs always available.
Yes, that's true. Mods that doesn't keep the original civs feel somewhat empty, or something's missing.
PLEASE say your working on a version for mac or you are at least getting someone too, I'm already having to pirate versions of pc games so please get this out for mac.

Yes, Finns come in the next release. The map is currently being worked on, it looks good already. I can also tell you that it's made by a Finn. :)
