Excessive is an over-the-top mod that makes all the weapons super-powerful, turns off self-damage, gives all the players regenerating health and ammo, and makes every game into a wild and crazy frag-fest! In the fast and furious bloodfest that is Excessive, it's not about staying alive; it's about taking as many people as possible out with you.
This version is highly configurable for both servers and clients. In the download section you should be able to find both UMOD and ZIP versions to download. Many thanks to everyone involved in testing the final version.

With the release of the UT2004 Demo, now is the time to start generating ideas for Mr.Pants' Excessive Overkill for UT2004. The majority of Excessive UT2k3, will port over to UT2004. Obviously, weapon balancing will require some work, along with modifications to the newer weapons. Vehicles will need an upgrade as well. Please stop by the Excessive Forums and offer any insights you may have.
In the meantime, I've also been working on some newer flame thrower effects that make the flames more streamlike instead of a sputter.

i had very big problems with killing a bot with the flak...
argh wait a second i have changed the shield and health to 500 and 200!!! oops
Excessive should be getting an Official Server shortly, thru gamespy, and the new official web page will be hosted on PlanetUnreal. I'll post some more news when I have both those running.
As far as the flak, not sure if you mean primary or secondary, but point blank with flak = death, and direct hit with flak shell = death, so I have a hard time agreeing that it is weak :)
Head on to the forums and we can discuss it, and possibly test a differnt setting.
