World at War
[For MoW]

This modification adds historical WW2 scenarios to the player, which obviously wants an intense amount of action.

The features are maps, as well as new FX, Textures and Weapons. All of these are made by me.
However, I've used some files from VillageRaper's mod "Polish Army". This is why I will not make this mod with any intention of making money, as this is work "made by the community, for the community".

The salerno mission is way too hard, seriously. I know it's supposed to be hard as you force the player to choose the highest difficulty, but the amount of tanks that come at you over the hill is insane, way too many for your 5 tanks and 1 AT gun to handle. I counted about 20! Maybe remove 5-10 of the attacking tanks or add a script for the friendly light tanks up on the hill to come and help when the panzers spawn?

I found it challenging too. APCR and captured PaKs made my day though.

I really like these, perhaps for a map for the future have it in the Pacific? You could include new Japanese or American etc. weapons like the Type 92 MG. Just a suggestion

That's a good idea.

Thanks, I am surprised no one has made a Type 92 yet. The Japanese are actually missing quite a few types of arty and some vehicle's.

Plus add a Mk2 Frag Grenade meanwhile for the Americans too and or a 30.cal on a more accurate mounting.

Hell the Japanese Faction as a whole is missing a lot of stuff, that could be added in this mod for Pacific Maps. Like the Type 99 Arisaka early war model rifle, Type 92 MG, Type 98 20mm AA Gun, Type 96 25mm AA Gun, Type 94 Tankette, Type 97 Te-Ke, triple wheeled Isuzu Truck(like the one from MOW, but with two wheels in back) I would suggest looking here for more ideas too, the mortars and artillery sections notably En.wikipedia.org

Oh and who could forget the Type 89 Knee Mortar? :D That's another idea for a new weapon.
