You sort of play thoses battles, its just that you get to play as the characters from those battles. But it is still sort of like a siege gametype since Movie battles is a multiplayer mod.
do you have an ETA on MBIII?
They have a model of the ETA but it is not a flyable vehicle/ship.
*facepalms* He means estimated time of arrival. ie, when it'll be released publicly.
"Face palm thing" Your right, I miss read the question when I answered it.
I thoght Movie Battles was a game where u play battles from the movies
It is, you can play battles such as Duel of the Fates on naboo. As well as the assault on the Tantive IV from episode 4... among many others. Theres also many locations from the expanded universe as well.
Can this mod be played in mp with bots? Or does it really require to play mp with gamers?
Im asking because I dont (temporarily) have a good internet connection at the moment and would like to play it LAN and with bots.
You can forcibly add bots if you wanted, however they wont know how to behave in the levels or use any of MBIIs features properly.
So I'm sorry, there isn't really much you can do about bot support. MBII has been made to be played mainly online.
Its already released. It has been and always will be MP only.
SP SDK was never released, so its not possible to make this for SP.
