What started as a branch of the Team Assault TC, resulted in a piece of work surpassing its own origins. Movie Battles is back for Round 2!
Movie Battles is a class-based, team-orientated Multiplayer Total Conversion previously for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, now for Jedi Academy. Totally altering the Multiplayer experience, to re-enact those famous battle scenes seen in the movies.
The main focus being teamplay, balance and movie-like battles, it offers diverse classes, representing the various groups of characters shown in the movies and taking over their core aspects. An altered Sabering System, giving the player full control over his saber and a Progressive Item / Weaponry System based on your actions during the rounds. Defeat the enemy and weaken their resources.
Being team-based, it is the villainous classes vs the forces of good, with balance taking priority. Sith vs Jedi, Rebellion vs Empire, Clones vs Droids. Teamplay is highly advised, but every class has the ability to defeat any other class.
War is coming as the battle rages on for a second delivery, time to choose your allegiance!

Hello:
Guys this is my first time in a forum so if I break any rules forgive me.
I have a problem with this mod, I've download it last week, I've installed it and it looks great but here is the problem: when I start to play a multiplayer game with JK3 I configure my character, after that its suposed I have to configure my saber right? well, when I get to this point, some window pops up and tells me this: "UI_sabermenu3 not found" or something pretty close to that and the game just shut down.
ANY help will be granted. Thanks.

Youre suposed to select JOIN on the Play Menu. The profile menu is bugged and will be fixed in the upcoming patch.
Those pictures are more fun than the actual game.
I remember playing this mod like two years ago. Thumbs up to the team.
You should really try it again then.. it has changed quite alot in he last few years ;)
It is back in the released section now, and the downloads were approved :P
Wheee! I'm still confused about this whole released/unreleased stuff. We're in public beta, so we've "released" content, but we're not "released" in terms of the final version.
As such, the release date you see is that of B19.12, which should appear as a download whenever a ModDB admin decides to approve it.
Just to clarify for anyone wondering about MBII's status: MBII was initially released publicly several years ago, but is still in active development, a subtlety that causes some confusion when trying to categorize MBII's status as unreleased or released on moddb. :P
It's a released mod, although the download links are apparently broken at the moment, heh. (That's being rectified by a few team members at the moment.)
