From the Journal of Test Subject #232:
31.21 N, 28.71 W. 2043 AD. It's hard to believe that just fifty years ago people were worried about the water levels rising. I joined the Testing Course Program just a week ago and they brought me to one of these island mountains. Ever since the Combine came they had been sucking up the water and sending it back to wherever they came from. So the water level fell so far that the underwater mountains became islands, then hills, and then finally towering mountains, jutting out of the water like some kind of massive wrecked ship. Then after the Combine were beaten away, this new Aperture corporation went around claiming all these mountains for research. Word was, they were extremely benevolent up until the founder died, and then they built this big robot lady to replace her. Then the tests got worse. The scientists around the place don't seem to know, and that seems odd. I'll just say I feel sorry for the next subject.

So, just to keep you in anticipation, this is the destroyed version of TA0-TC05. This is for Portal 2, not Portal 1. Just unzip and run the BAT file included...

I haven't worked on it in a long while... I start projects and work on them a lot in about 4-8 months and they kinda fall out of my mind, and eventually I come back to them after a while. I have a feeling this is another one of those. I'm not quitting, but I'm just not working on it for a long while.

Ah, I see. Happens all the time. Good luck when you come back to it, and good luck with the other stuff you're doing too.

XD I almost forgot how to use Hammer! But I'm doing surprisingly well after not mapping for so long.

Actually if you want, I commonly make new in-game maps in Portal 2.. I could help you out by showing you maps that i make through Steam.. already made 5 that you could use.. and you could make them through Hammer.. that would ease the tension of making the same chamber twice, no? I'm not actually doing much since the mod I worked for pretty much died.. looking for non-mapping Level Designer Work nowadays.
