Wooh! Morning Faith hit 100 watchers today, and as promised we are writing a nice little article about how working on Morning Faith has been and how it will be. Both myself and Bekey have devoted many hours mapping, creating textures and... attempting to prop model (with no avail I might add). Much to our surprise we hit 100 watchers pretty quickly into development. So with this milestone I thought we'd tell you a bit more about how development goes.
The first map that we made was a great one. You can see it in our images, but it didn't hit our standards of realism. Being a horror game immersion is one of the biggest effects we can use to really scare the player, so we can't really have a long road with a house on one side and a store on the other. Once its geometry and lighting were completely finished, we ended up dropping it and starting over completely. The initial story line of the game has changed as well. Starting off we didn't have a complete design document, because we wanted more feedback on our storyline. We were eager to start so Bekey and I sat down and bounced ideas for a long time, giving us a great story line, something original. With that being said, here is an exclusive piece:

I hope you enjoyed that. Another thing the MF team wanted to include in the game was loads of scripted puzzles, a point-observe system, as well as a few other newly coded features. I hope you have enjoyed this new article so far.
For the end I'd like to give some thanks to our 100 Watcher:
Age 23 United Kingdom
Sincerely, Morning Faith Team
Also we would like to say farewell to our previous members, Goldendeed and Nodarg, Bye guys and good luck! You were a big help when we started this mod!

is it dead?
I can't say much, but that this mod has gone under so many versions and revisions it's not even the slightest similar to the first idea, not even to it's name.
It's ambitions are still way over our skill level and gameplay mechanics are non existent, in fact it would be a pure story mod in the end.
A year ago I've been working on GraviNULL, a fantastic mod with fun new gameplay, and ever since then nothing at all. The tools for Source are way too tedious to work with and overall I'm too lazy and impatient.
What is happening to this mod is no longer my behalf.
However all ideas are kept inside my head and might be reawaken someday in the future, under the same or different name.
^___^
Looks great! Please be ALIVE!
are you going to show us who Watcher #200 was?
Crap.
haha, the concept art is looking so awesome! is this mod still alive?
Yeah of course, lemme finish GraviNULL stuff, and we'll have some level design shots ready.
tracking :o
we need more time to answer that mate :P
Hide and run. The player is too much terrified and psychological unstable to wield a weapon.
