Monkeystrike is the answer to the dozens of realistic, "CS-like" MODs which pop up everywhere. Monkeystrike is a "Fun" MOD. We want to bring the player fun instead of an ultra-realistic damage-system or whatever...As you might have noticed, this MOD is about Monkeys. There are different classes with crazy weapons, skills and different gamemodes. More informations can be read below.

Yes, we're back and we're kicking!
Pinki and R2 dediced to finish what we've started and finally did what many quiet voices were yelling: continue the work.
Well, to be honest they totally suprised me with this and have already secretly been working for a while now so the results should bring a smile upon your sad sad monkeyfaces.
Only to name a few things: team identification, particle engine, texture revamping, misc. visual improvements, etc.
But enough of the chit-chat, I better let the pictures speak for themselves:
The first two pictures show off the grass system, the next three are a little demonstration of the graphically improved explosion, followed by two model/skin shots. The shots were taken in a new map created by Pinki.
Furthermore, we are planning to set up a test server, bring back the beta testing team and finally finish monkeystrike for real. So here's a kind remark for all of our fans: GET YOUR BACKSIDES BACK IN THE FORUMS AND IRC CHANNEL!! :D
However, please note that we are not totally back in action. All we did is finish up a few things, there's still lots and lots of bugs to be fixed and general stuff to be done, so don't expect the usual full 100%

I installed this mod in a cyber cafe that I worked at and people were laughing histerically over this. Beautifuly done, sad that it isn't played more.
some people would consider this mod a virus on thier computer that they installed!

I guess that one quote about coming back together isn't really true. This mod would appear to be fairly dead, at least it has a lack of updates.
I added new promo shots and images to the gallery, which will be frequently updated as the development of 2.0 progresses.
Allright people, after such a long time of almost disappearing from the mod scene we pulled ourselves together and got back to monkeystrike to finish it up.
again many things will be worked over and new features were and will be added to make the gameplay much better and more interresting, the world and the feeling more intensive... and all in all finally realise what everyone can expect of MS, a great, kick ass mod.
