Downloads - MONKEYS of DOOM, Quake III Arena version Mod for Quake III Arena

This is a pre-release of MONKEYS of DOOM, running as a mod on QUAKE III ARENA, OPEN ARENA or any similar game based on the id Tech 3 engine. The release of the stand-alone version will follow in the not-so-far future (at least I hope so;-). This pack includes everything necessary for a full-toon experience of "Floating Stonefaces", a toon-style map you will find somewhere close to this. Author of the cool original is Stefan Scholz, aka sst13! The skybox, plants, jumppads, sound and botnavigation of the MONKEYS of DOOM version were added by me with sst13's kind permission. Unzip the file you have downloaded into the QUAKE III ARENA / OPEN ARENA directory (NOT into baseq3!). Run the game, open the "MOD"-menue, choose "MONKEYS of DOOM" and hit "LOAD". You may be asked for a CD key, but can ignore that. Back in the main menue, click "MULTIPLAYER", browse for a map named "13stone_mod" and have fun!
