Is there anything I need to do here? All I got was a normal artillery-style explosion, followed by all the trees and buildings on the 200x200 map I was on being knocked over/damaged, but no visual effects.
oh, I used the fx by its self. I dont believe I made a service/damage.
Well, in the damages menu, there is a cyan entry for 'nuke'. That's what I have been using. My mate has also been using the same one, and he definitely gets the tactical nuke explosion - he showed me a video.
Oh, wow, thats weird. What your gonna have to do is:
1) Go to C/: Drive mod directory
2) Go to resources/set/stuff/bombing
3) Click on outburst_nuke
4) Make sure the only tag is expluto
That should do it
I've PMd you with everything that is in the outburst_nuke.ammo file, mate.
I have the same problem as KageToraUK. I went into the file outburst_nuke.ammo and the only tag is expluto but i still get a normal artillery explosion with everything collapsing. It's quite cool anyway though.
Thanks, you just have to set up a trigger so the fx and service damage are spawned.
what's a tag and what's a trigger?
I'm talking about coding tags, which is something that you probably won't understand, but a trigger is what you set in the editor so something happens during you mission.

Where do I put this thing?

Can you please tell me where exactly do I put this Nuke in MoW Gem game? And how do I access it in the Map or Mission list of the Gem Editor? I have downloaded a couple of different flags but I don't know where to save them and how to access then in the Gem Editor. In which folder should I save them?
Also, I've forgotten how to put light effects on the map, e.g. 'light_plafond_dim'? It does not drop on the map while others, such as spotlights (light_search_dir) can be dropped on the map and then altered with buttons A, S, Z and C. How do I make them appear (turn on or off) at a given waypoint command or even Triggers commands:? Can these effects be used as commands?
