'Mobile Infantry' is both a single player and multiplayer cooperative modification for Half-Life, based on the universe of the movie Starship Troopers.
The beta 1.0 is the first public version and is available for download now. This first pack named 'Mobile Infantry : Training Camp' will help you to become a trooper.
The second pack will be coming afterwards with the first fights against bugs. Get ready....

Great news! We decided to release MI complete source code to speed up its development and for the most interest of the still-alive HL community.
The MI project was recently accepted on the well-known open-source host SourceForge.net, and we are progressively migrating our coding resources to it. Source code and tasks are up to date and can be easily viewed, so feel free to have a look at it!

Pengus, come on. At least attempt to give some constructive criticism. What didn't you like? What would you like to see changed in future builds? Give them a little more curtiousy, please.

This should be a nice precursor to the film sequel, keep up the good work.
Now, while on the subject of the new film ... it's a shame about the fact that it's a low budget, straight to video affair. Though, with animation guru Phil Tippet behind it, can it really fail? I remain optimistic :-)

how come the site never gets updated? it hasnt been updated in a long time :)! its ok id rather see a complete mod than a updated site. oh well keep up the good work!
Hey i heard that sony entertainment and some other company are joining forces to create i think a FPS out for PC and the three game consoles! isnt that cool?! i cant wait but itll come out like next year like late though. they prob got the idea for the next movie SST 2.
