Before reading on, please click here so that you can start your download! It's been a long journey to finish this project. With the first map being made and released back in 2009 and the second map being released in 2010, it has taken another 2 years for the project to be completely wrapped up.
Initially I intended to just create the final map and do some script and minor graphical upgrades to the previous levels, but while having a beer with Rick one day he suggested that he could help me out with some art to make the levels even more awesome.
"It'll only take like 2 months" he said "we'll make some new rocks and stuff, it'll be easy!" That was back in December. From then until now we've done almost complete rebuilds of the old levels, replaced almost all Half-Life 2 content with original art, and created 2 new levels as well! We have around 300 new textures being used in the mod, along with 300 new models.
It's a great feeling to finally be able to release Mission Improbable. It has been a lot of late nights and long hours to get it done, and we sincerely hope you'll enjoy playing it. In case your download hasn't finished quite yet, then you can take a look at the launch trailer below.
The download is STILL not done? Then check out this videoreview that Valvetime.net did! They reviewed a pre-release version of the mod, and awarded it an A-!
By now I hope the download is done. Again, we hope you like it, now we will go get some well-deserved rest!

Mission Improbable Part 2, released in May 2010. This version is outdated, but is still available.

It's like an Expansion Pack for HL2. And it's not one of those cheap Mods, this campaign is so good it could've been in the original game.

Hey Insta can you make a steam grid view image for this mod ?.
The requirements are the image be jpeg, png, or tga file format and be 460x215 pixels in size.
Here's some examples of the images for other mods:
Minerva - Cdn.steampowered.com
Riot Act - Cdn.steampowered.com
Rock 24 - Cdn.steampowered.com
Please and thank you.
Why main hero is Gordon Freeman?
No, this mod is awesome, but I think it is would be better if the main hero would not Gordon Freeman, because there are so many mods where is Gordon Freeman is a main hero; and it is makes plot a bit strange... Anyway, I like your mod!
Just played the first ten minutes of the mod, and I'm reliving all my old memories of playing the original versions of the maps. You guys have improved so much!
These visuals are the type I would expect to be implemented in HL3, if this isn't HL3 already!
The mod install files have still not been authorized, so I've edited the download-link so that it links to our mirror site. I'll update it once again when the file is available on modDB!

thanks :)
The whole mod looks fantastic, the outdoor areas are the most amazing. It would be awesome to just walk around this place without enemies.
