I absolutely agree, this is one of the most magnificent beta recreated levels I've ever laid eyes upon. It's incredibly stunning and atmospheric. There's so much detail, even more than the retail Half-Life 2.
My pulse is rising, would I find this in the upcoming update?!
This is going to be in Episode 1, which is a ways off,unfortunately. This map is still in the very early stages, most of it is just test stuff.
Will there be a non episodic continuous game released when all the episodes are completed?
Most likely there will be, if we don't decide to have each episode add on to the last.

No, it's a remake of the entrance to the construction yard from the WC-Mappack. All made from scratch by the way.

It would be nice if they would introduce it in the storyline :D
It was a mere test map for a very, VERY early version of Source.
That was practically the beginning of developing HL2.

Out of curosity is the mod gonna have both models of citizens, gas masked with aprons and the alpha very which is the ones with green/blue clothing and the symbols on their backs that are red that dont have gas masks.

WHY IS EVERYTHING DARK 24/7 u know all the new pics show everything being dark. its kinda stupid cuz it takes place across 4 days so it cant always be dark. but i cant deny it looks buitful :)
You've never heard of ridiculous pollution + Air Exchange? The Combine are modifying the atmosphere so that they can breathe in it. It's day if you look closely.
I personaly think this looks more like an css map or some other cole combat mod. But that is just me. I still think it look really cool and welldone :)
абсолютно не ощущается атмосфера старого сюжета , на мой взгляд слишком много объектов взято из релиза - надеюсь эту карту переделют...
