Nice. Are these better than any class starter weapons, or just classy gimmicks?
A tommy gun is always better than any gun, any gun is better than the start up guns anyways.
Whatever suits you. It has high rate of fire with quite a big cartridge and low recoil, however, it weights about 5kg, as opposed to 2.5kg for UMP45 and isn't really the most reliable weapon you can get.
It's a cool weapon though and that's the reason for existence of 99% of guns in our mod.
"Cool" is the number 1 priority we set before our eyes when we pick a gun :D
I'll probably end up using it, always loved how the straight magazine one looks. It's a shame is the less portrayed variant in videogames.
So now you will have opportunity to use it in all the flavors :)

Finally, drum mags. By the way, are the tommy guns still unable to attach silencers when the next update comes out?
Tommy guns aren't fun when silenced, in fact, they were never meant to be silenced, the barrel never had threads for that matter. So yeah, no silencer.
