Is it only me or the whole images section got screwed up ?
Alright, switching to SD view seem to partially fix the thumbnail issue, do that while waiting for an official fix from the ModDB staff.
Which ammo does it use ?

One of my recon favourites. Although that scope might be overkill since its round is so slow and has so much bullet drop at longer ranges.
Will the other Groza models be based on this model aswell, cause its very HQ and I like it alot.
its able to use the 7.62×39mm round which seems to be this case since the magazine seems to be larger
hmm im probably wrong the 7.62x39mm groza does have the akm mag. but who knows maybe its it anyway
Vintorez uses the same round, does it mean it's a bad sniper rifle?
Yes. In real life vintorez is good assault rifle. But horrible for a sniper work. Its effective hit range is only around 300 m. Slow bullet speed gives almost no sound but muzzle velocity is really bad
Nahh. The VSS is a great tactical sniper used for urban counter_terrorist atacks. But when it comes to long range sniping its very limited. In this game its an almost useless sniper if you dont have all the flatness upgrades for it. Same goes for all other weapons that use 9x39 rounds.
Still thats the cool part about these recon weapons that use 9x39. They pack that high punch, but at a cost of less precission over range. Takes alot of practise to work out the bullet drop when you snipe with a VSS or an AS-VAL. Or in this case the Groza.
I have to ask this again, will the standard groza have the same base model as this spetsnaz looking thing?
In game you won't fight at 300m anyway unless you have NASA computer ;)
Take some time to learn the bullet drop of 9x39 weapons. They are actually very predictable and it's easy to make adjustments. All you have to do is aim bit higher, after you get used to it the VSS becomes one of the most effective sniper weapons in the game.
