This mod intends to add various weapons from all around the globe to Misery mod, weapons of every stalker's dream. Suggestions, Feedbacks and points of view are very welcomed !

Alsow, where is the standard variant? I cant remenber this shotgun being added in Misery. oO

I honestly dont see much use of a bayonet is Misery. I mean the concept is great and all, but since NPCs can spot you from short range and mutants are overall tanks, how will a bayonet be usefull? The only way I see a bayonet being of good use, is against fleshes "considering they get stunned at the first bayonet swing" and at executing downed NPCs.
Now that Im thinking a functional bayonet would be pretty awesome. :D
Kruno said it right, if you can't kill a damn thing with 9 buckshots than running is better than using the bloody bayonet, unless you have a death wish :v
That's been in my Amazon "saved for later cart" for a couple years. Reviews say the heavier recoil (vs 5.56) will break the handle on cheaper knives, so they fall off, or fly off with the next shot. Good knives are too expensive for something I'd probably never use. Might get one used...you know, in case of zombies...
In game usage, starting fights (vs point blank head shot), larger dog packs, nearly any knife usage scenario, especially cases where a slightly longer range would help. Really, sharpened shovel but not a bayonet?
On implementation, what about the grenade launcher slot? A knife is basically a gun with a meter range, unlimited ammo, and melee animation. Couldn't the same be applied for bayonets?
That is quite an idea, I like it. I don't know if I could make it, but maybe you could write it to one of TZP devs who are doing scripts work (trojanuch maybe?). That would be a cool addition :)
It it easy to do for me, removing the launcher and putting a bayonet is a piece of cake, however, the animations are the issue, if only I can find a one single animation for one assault rifle it will be much of help, I'll look into that some time later, remember, I have added a bayonet to an AK before :D
Shoker 2.1 got some nice hidden animations, I'll check that for sure.

There will be standard one of course but I'm not sure what texture will be used, mp5lng will choose it
Right now I got two different black textures, we will probably have them both in the game, again, it's for the sake of variety.

If you didn't killed your target with 9 shells, bayonet won't help you much, better run away from such oponent :)

Once Misery 2.2 comes out, it will not be difficult to choose prefered texture variant :)
Indeed, with the amount of multiple choices everyone is free to choose what suits best.
