Remember the batch of weapons I mentioned a few days ago? there they are, a batch of AK74s joined the TAZ arsenal. A set of ten rifles, two groups, AK74, and AK74M. Check the first comment for variants names, and a clearance on what model you're looking at in case you're a guns retard =D
These are the AK74 variants, and they are:
-Standard
-Custom "With Micro-T Aimpoint"
-Alternative
-New
-Old "Don't mind the shiny bumpmaps, I fixed that already"
it may sound stupid but do you plan adding different types of magazines for weapons ? for example for AK 74 to be able to switch from 30 mag to 45 or 60 or 75? like Shoker 3.0 mod a system like that its not necessary to add animations for putting bullets in mags it enough to be various types of magazines
Not possible, Shoker uses a unique engine, and TAZ is still using the old one, even Open xray does not have such feature.
even upgrades for things like this like in gunslinger where you can upgrade for example ak 74m with a 60 mag and after the upgrade at the mechanic it stays forever and of course the upgrade is visual too i mean from 30 mag cap to 60 mag cap it changed in aspect of the mag it would look funny to see an AK 74u with a 75 magazine (if even that its not possible then is sad and i understand that such of thing will take a lot of time because of adding new mag as a visual thing for a lot of weapons so i am not asking to do it its just an idea if you like try it if not ignore it )
Such things can't be "tried", I'm no script god like gunslinger and shoker guys are, I'm just a typical modder with slightly above the average modding skills, what you're asking for is way above my reach.

It's already in the mod man as AKS74 with several variants. I don't think I get it with skeleton stock, is it like the stock on the Tantal? Moddb.com
Yes, that's it. I wasn't sure how the stock is called. Nice to see it in the game. I have already lost count on how many and what weapons are in the mod :D
The AKS74 is actually a vanilla weapon, it has been in the game since Shoc, we just took it and gave it some serious love :D
I don't know about the other one you mentioned, not sure it's worthy. The Tantal is here with that unique stock, maybe I'll add a new AK variant with that stock some other time.
Yes I know AKS74 is in the vanilla. I meant better model for it. You know the one with wooden handguard, "normal" bakelite orange magazine and not the Bulgarian green waffle mag, right hand side charging handle etc. And maybe other variations with plum mags, polymer handguard and so on...
Now that I know all of these are in the mod I'm delighted :D

Pretty awesome! I'd love to get my hands on a Pistol Mitralieră model 1963/1965, the AMD-65, and the FEG AKM-63... Why not having them all while I'm there? haha, oh well, a man can always dream.

The PM md.63/65 are nother Russian take on the AKM rifles, I'm not really sure if I've seen models for them around, but I know that I got wooden V-grip for them, they just need animations which we can't afford. So these we'll be left for another time.
The Hungarian AK needs proper model as well, I will add it as soon as I find a good one. On the other hand, I got three fine AK derivants from Yugoslavia, the Zastava :3 I keep forgetting to take good screenshots for them.
