Mirage is a third person action RPG that puts the player into the shoes of two very different characters on opposing sides of a violent conflict. Made for the pc, and utilizing the Source engine, made famous by games like Half Life 2 and Portal, Mirage takes the fast paced action of hack and slash RPG’s, and combines it with a “Final Fantasy” style of storytelling. Utilising the various tools in the Source engines software development kit, Mirage will be a heavily customised modification of Half Life 2: Episode 2.

Hello!
Just a quick update on where we are at in our project.
At the moment we have half the team on animation, working on Redds basic run/back/strafe/attack animations - this time next week we should have the base animation reel done.
On the exporting and source development front - our exporting/intergration sub-team has been working on the massive qc file for our Redd character. 130+ bones, and the file is insane, we are still unsure if it will work - but we'll see.
The BeachHead Level is also coming together, which is what the another group of team members are working on, adding moss, dirt, sand, plants and other props such as drains, tunnels and docks to make it seem more real.
The remaining group are on characters, and are rigging the Arkonian Soldier (Redds enemies) and raising the quality of Redds texture.
