Is the time for an update. We are working hard to finish this mod, and we added some new features, including:

-Bloom: the bloom effect will not be only an eye-candy features but will take an important role on the gameplay used only in some parts of the game for distract the player or just for cutscenes.

-Fullscreen RoQ: Id Tech 4 use the RoQ file format for videos wich is a sequence of high quality TGAs, but one of the problem of Doom 3 is it can't handle RoQs fullscreen during a level, so we introduced this feature for speed up the work on somecutscene, instead of animate all with func_cameras.

-New sound system:
Our programmer introduced a new sound system for make things quickly without place thousands of speakers in the map. With just a pair of speaker and four lines of script its possible to start a sound looping, and make it fadeout.

Thanks to Maha_x for the Bloom shader and Ivan_The_B for the RoQ/Music system.

We are introducing also another feature for the cutscenes. Not all the cutscenes plays RoQ videos, but most of them are ingame. We want to introduce first-person cutscenes. In other words we bind a camera to the neck Joint of the player, then when the cutscene start, the camera will move with the animation of the character. Like Crysis cutscenes.

Last thing, with the help of Calimer from Last Man Standing mod we are going to have a Linux and Mac version of the mod.

Stay tuned and watch the new screenshots:

In the mean time we want to write up the official F.A.Q. for the mod, but with your questions. So if you have a specific question about the mod, feel free to ask, we will include all the best questions on the official F.A.Q.

There are textures, most of the game is in black and white. But some parts are textured in a noir style.

I just watched the clip, and find it really impressiv! I love puzzle-games and also the artificial and "reduced to the necessary" visual style.

I just watched the trailer and I gotta say, it looks nice, definitely! I especially like the new setting, it's neither stereotyped nor too crazy. I've seen a few things you gotta work on (playershadow on the small runway, or the cylinder with no cap), but you said work in progress... so just one last thing to mention: Can't wait for the release! (watching since now)
