I would go with the second one looks more stealthy at the front.

while the second one looks angular - stealthy - that shape is a thing of the past ( since the f117 ). Later stealth objects become alot rounder ( looks ar f22 ).
That being said, this is a game not RL, and nod is a faction about round shapes. The angular more massive looking ones are for GDI. There for imo given the faction shape theme version 1 fits NOD much more.

First one could have been preferable if it was some sort of a beam cannon or something.. but yeah thats just what i think

The second one is an example of outdated stealth shape. Nod vehicle is also rounder!

GDI is the side with edges. Nod is the side with smooth rounded surfaces,it has always been this way and the unit will look out of place amongst the other not edgy nod units already in this mod.
Just smooth over the edges a bit and number 2 will be perfect.
