Hello Homam 6 fans! I've been searching trough the Internet for some Homam 6 mods, but I haven't found any. So, I decided to create a new one, that really remakes the game itself. I don't mean any new maps. In my opinion a new map itself isn't a mod, it's just a map. "As far as I know, there aren't any mod tools." that's what I thought, but then I found a simple program, that allows me to use map Editor as mod tool. I would like to bring bigger and more complicated combat maps, new cutscenes, new Main menu video and also I would like to remake the Town screen, but I'm not sure about this. I'm still learning with the map Editor, but I wouldn't call myself a beginner. For now, I'm working alone. I don't have the team spirit to work in a team, but if there is someone, who would like to help, i would appreciate it.

I would like to introduce you to actual mod status. Since I uploaded the new Hero Evolve Cutscene, I began with new Main Menu. It's quite difficult to create it, because you have to come up with new idea and then implement it, but I will let know about this in feature section as soon as possible. I don't want to upload the scenes individually (I don't mean videos, but files, that you can download), hence I would like to know your feedback. After that I wanna focus on combat maps. In my opinion they're too small and too flat. For now, I can make the combat area bigger, but there is problem with spawning. At the beginning of the battle (neither with tactics nor without tactics) you army spawns at the same place, so you have combat behind your "spawning line", but maybe I can fix it. Most of the stuff I'm creating and I will create will be in Haven thematic, because it's just my favorite faction. However I have plans for other factions.
So let me know what do you think about this and what would you lie to see.

I would like to see bug fixes. The most annoying ones for me are graphics and consistency bugs.
So here I have two that I really hate (why devs leave them, why they didn't fix it with the last patch?). So first I have polish version of the game and I don't know if this problem exists in other languages.
The last boss of campaign - the shadow dragon was named before as "Mallassa's Daughter". Maybe it was a little bit diffrent name (I can't remeber, but I'd like it to be named as before when all were fitting). But now she is named "Thunder Bird". Of course it's a bug.
Plus I think in game we have graphics of upgraded Dungeon's walls but while you upgrading them through the game they don't change on the map, still look as basic walls, even if you have already 3 level of them.
I don't know if this mod is active but I will be watching in case it is, I would love to see this happen :)

I was wondering just the other day if there were any mods for H6 yet, and here we are.
It's interesting that you can use a file converter to change map files into something that modifies the rest of the game, but if it works it works.
Any chance you can lay down some more concrete ideas with what you're planning to do in this mod?
Hiya friend! I encourage you to go through with it, not precisely because I'm a great fan of HMM VI, indeed... Nah, it's because I truly have found an enormous potencial in the product; moreover, there's a really good job already accomplished in artistic terms. First of all, please add the old resources (I beg you!), and secondly... well, fix the editor, 'cause the maps are HoMM's major asset. And why not, by setting the pillars for the addition of new factions. Let's rebuild it from the ground. Thank you so much for your efforts!

I think that everyone would appreciate the return of the original resources - and balance to them... You could make that happen... Blood crystal just dumbs everything down... Thank You :)
Would it be possible to remove the hero level cap of 30 with this mod?
hopefully a mod that would allow teammates to watch the battles and see the map when there is a turn going on would be great but anyway this looks interesting too :)
that's deeply hard coded in the.exe file and only the original programmers got permissions to work with this.
ok, too bad then :(. Ubi should really consider reworking multiplayer interfaces and what to do when waiting for own turn, like why the hell is the minimap hidden when its not your turn? why cant you choose spells for your heroes? why you cant queue buildings? these would increase the mp popularity.. Its freaking crazy that the same problems still occurs after so many years..
