MidEast Crisis is a total conversion for the EA game Command and Conquer Generals : Zero Hour. It is a mod featuring Israel and Syria in a hypothetical modern war setting.
This is a non-political, non-biased mod, where no party is good nor evil. Both factions have their own unique arsenal and abilities.
MidEast crisis also contains a new gameplay element where you battle for “Key Locations”. Enormous efforts have been made to provide an authentic feel to the project, including the traveling of several team members to Israel to record authentic Israeli and Arab voices and audio samples.
Accompanied by a soundtrack, which was recorded in a professional recording studio, MidEast Crisis is all about atmosphere.

Or, in a magazine at least. This time, it's Computer Games Magazine, a popular and widespread American publication. A glowing review it is too. There have been other magazine articles written about MidEast Crisis as well; they'll be shown in the near future as scans become available.

i installed mideast the other day and it came up with a "serious error" message and had to shut down. i deleted the mideast files in the Zero Hour folder and tried to run zero hour. it came up with the same "serious error" message and i was basically pissed at this point. i unistalled zero hour and tried to reinstall it only to realize that i didnt have the cd case with the serial number. so, two questions:
numero uno- would anybody lend me their serial number, i dont register my game online or anything, i just wanna play.
numero two-why didnt mideast work? i had patched generals to 1.04 and am very depressed and agitated because now i have no zero hour................. x)
YES! Finally 1.5 is available for those of us who don't play on an online comp
I think it would rock some more if your guys plan some SP missions.
Man, the AI just on Easy level is hard to beat, good job with the AI.
Yeah... I have the First Decade... and for some weird reason it installed in TFD derectory instead of the ZH derectory... so IF you are like me and have TFD then you will need to move the installed files to your ZH folder, also(!!!), on the desktop shortcut you will need to put in the correct target, via, the "generals.exe" file in ZH.
So what is going on, are you going to change it to C&C 3.
well i installed it and tried to run it but as it was loadin it just stopped and closed the program..no error messages or nothin. it really sucks caus this mod looks awesome
Nope, they re-wrote several of the.dat files, but you can install the game with Modtoaster.
i unistalled 1.2 and reinstalled modtoaster and it worked ne chance cold war crisis will be on mod toaster?
but i tried first tiberium war and it didnt work either
