Terrible unit pathfinding FTW.

I can't wait to focus 100% on Starcraft 2 projects.
SC2 also has some bad pathfinding, although not as bad as C&C 3.
SC2 has relatively great pathfinding compared to most RTS games today
Does it rival the flow pathfinder of SupCom 2? I haven't really gotten to try it since my comp can't quite handle the game. Is pathfinding a thing with the engine or can it be modified?
It probably can be modified, but I imagine the reason for the poor pathfinding in the first place is probably sheer difficulty in writing good, efficient pathfinding.
