"Mideast Crisis 2"(MeC2) is a total conversion for "Command and Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars" by Isotx as the sequel to its "Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour" conversion "Mideast Crisis". Isotx teamed up with Derelict Studios, in which the staff for MeC2 is largely composed out of core team members from past SAGE engine mods such as; Blitzkrieg 2, Halogen (now known as Asylum), Mideast Crisis and Rise of Rome.
MeC2 features 3 distinct factions; Israel Defense Forces, the Guardians of Islam and the UN Peacekeepers which you can play in both multiplayer and singleplayer spanning maps (and missions) from Beirut to Jerusalem.
MeC2's gameplay focuses on occupation warfare within cities using 3 types of resources; money (from occupation taxes), fuel (from oil derricks and gas stations) and special ammunition (from ammo crates). We're also bringing back secondary resources in the form of; embedded reporters, settlements and hacking.
Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks and months, we have a great deal of surprises and innovations to show.

We have three new screenshots from the upcoming MIDEAST CRISIS 2, showing the Hinds, T-90's, Katyushas, and Tunguska's in action! The MEC2 team has also revealed the Mr. Stop virus, which you can see incapacitating a Tunguska below. Enjoy the screenshots, and let us know what you think!

Beta Re-Opened
The MEC2 team is reopening our beta applications. We are looking to add more testers in order to help complete testing the GOI and to soon help start testing the IDF and our AI.

The airfield seems a little weird. It migh be like that to deceive it among barracks or so but if not I think you should drop the towered desing a bit.
What I mean is that it neither lookslike a civilian building nor an airport. Try making it more of sand covered buker to be in par with a camouflaged faction because nobody hides expensive fighters inside an odd loking tower with improvised radar sistems.
The GOI buildings aren't really about having camouflage though, they are meant to look far more civilian. In fact, their use of stealth is more about blending in with the population than camo or sci-fi stealth.
If you want bunkers and such, or camouflaged tents...then you'll have to wait for the UN and IDF (respectively).

the plane is a mig-39. the MEC2 group made the plane up, its fiction (although ther really is an Su-47)
