MidEast Crisis 2C&C: Tiberium Wars mod | Released Feb 23, 2009"Mideast Crisis 2"(MeC2) is a total conversion for "Command and Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars" by Isotx as the sequel to its "Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour" conversion "Mideast Crisis". Isotx teamed up with Derelict Studios, in which the staff for MeC2 is largely composed out of core team members from past SAGE engine mods such as; Blitzkrieg 2, Halogen (now known as Asylum), Mideast Crisis and Rise of Rome. MeC2 features 3 distinct factions; Israel Defense Forces, the Guardians of Islam and the UN Peacekeepers which you can play in both multiplayer and singleplayer spanning maps (and missions) from Beirut to Jerusalem. MeC2's gameplay focuses on occupation warfare within cities using 3 types of resources; money (from occupation taxes), fuel (from oil derricks and gas stations) and special ammunition (from ammo crates). We're also bringing back secondary resources in the form of; embedded reporters, settlements and hacking. Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks and months, we have a great deal of surprises and innovations to show.

This article details over some of the key things that we felt went right, and went wrong in its development and most importantly how it has affected the upcoming release.
The UN Peacekeepers Gameplay M1 Abrams The M1A2's proven vulnerabilities to even archaic weapons such as the Soviet RPG-7 led to the development and implementation of one of the most advanced survivability packages in existence to all M1A3s, comprising firstly of a hardened carbon-ceramic armor plating capable of withstanding a direct hit from any known anti tank weapon and secondly the experimental Active Repair and Engineering System (ARES) which when activated immobilies the tank to enable nanoseeds to autonomously repair and restore the vehicle. However this results in the vehicle being temporarily impaired following repairs. Despite this flaw, the capability of the ARES system is considered to be vastly superior to any existing active protection suites such as the IDF's Trophy. The UN Base
Warfactory - Creates Vehicles Training Center - Provides upgrades and each Training Center will increase the speed your units gain veterancy at. Nanotech Center - Unlocks units and provides upgrades.
The fun part of it is that who your sponsor is will depend on what map position you choose. For example, say you pick map position 1 on Small Town your sponsor could be Sparkle Cola. However, if you pick position 2 it could be Magino Oil.

Something I doubt many of you noticed in the above screenshots is that on all of the UN structures we've implemented baked-in ground shadows. Its a very subtle effect, but as you can see in the above screens it really helps the buildings feel attached to the ground (and not just kinda floating on the surface). Help Wanted! Hi, your mod is so good. But why don't you make a Merkava mk4? All we here think Merkava2 cannot face the T90 tank. I have a moedl if you need.

I liked the look of the older one better, keep in mind our goal wasn't making a realistic Merkava version, just an iconic version of the tank.
ok so ur saying we have to have an Nvidea card to play this mod...gay as hell a smart person would know ATI isnt very good at shaders and slows down when u ask it to so now were all glitchy as fuck and u wont fix it
the shader bug is something we're looking into...although honestly, we haven't had much luck with it yet
now that i look at it i feel bad about ranting and seeing how u took it quite well just wanted to say srry but uh ya that shader thing rly needs a fix and what i should have been complaining about was how ATI needs to fix damn shaders since all new games use it nowadays but im gonna start building a new comp soon and im gettin Nvidea so all should be well
You guys will lounch the next version as anpatch or as an new instaler???

This release was mainly released to test the Multiplayer right ?
The single player's difficulty is too high, even if setting in Easy.
The enemy seem to have a lot of money just as he starts.
um... i have a question.... if this 2nd release has a progress bar that starts from 0% and ends at 100%... where do you think you are exactly?
Hopefully the UN will be available by late july or early august , cuz i really want to play this game with 2 of my friends , each with a different faction , cuz its getting kinda boring with 2 IDF's and 1 GOI , or 2 GOI's and 1 IDF , and so on x_x
