You want to battle a Star Destroyer with the Enterprise? Micro Space is an action based multiplayer mod for Freespace 2 SCP (SourceCodeProject). You can fly all well known ships from different universes, like the X-Wing, the Battlestar Galactica or even the LEXX from the dark zone. All combined in one game in a unique toy-like appearance.

Latest News: Some new vessels found their way into Micro Space

You can see three new vessels from the Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek and Star Wars universe. With these new ships we also want to show you not only the different universes but the different eras of these univeres as well. You can enjoy the most famous vessels from the TOS of ST, SW and BG beside the new ones.
The next complete model is going to be posted this week. Another one with two big eyes ;) could be done by the end of the week.
After finishing a bunch of ships we will start to create an appropriate level environment to show you finally some ingame screenshots instead of model renderings.
We hope you like the new toy ships and keep watching this project.

A new ship, the death star is finally complete.
The level, a kids room, is causing some trouble, so it will still take a while to show first shots but we are working on it. I use the time till some problems are fixed to complete the Lexx.
We are currently planning the level in order to show some real-time stuff. It's not that easy as expected. The next vessel is actually done but the rendering needs to be finalized. We intend to do high quality work so it might take a while to complete some assets.

We are working on it whenever possible. DaBrain is going to finish a new ship pretty soon. Unfortunate circumstances didn't allow me to work on the LEXX the past few days.
You can fly your ship in "micro machine-like" environments like rooms and outer environments. For the release we will keep the count of different levels quite low (atm 2) because they are far more complex than an empty space scene filled with some asteroids only.
Planned is a child's room and an outdoor scene in a garden.

You don't need to buy the game because "Micro Space" is going to be a stand-alone mod which is based on the FS2 engine and contains all data to run independently. So everybody can play it without installing FreeSpace2.
I should also mention that we want to do 3d levels instead of simple skyboxes what means you can fly under the bed, around the ceiling lamp, through foliage and so on.

if gameplay and environments are that good too, i'll even freespace 2 for this.
btw: what environments are you planing? space or things like rooms and garages in houses?
