Not only are we changing the way you
play Halo, we're bringing the world of Metroid online.
Here is a list of the features:
* Samus Aran biped (replacing Master Chief)
* Fully 3D HUD (animated as well)
* Samus's Arm Cannon: Power Beam, Plasma Beam, Wave Beam, Super Missile and exclusive to our mod (not in Metroid Prime): Havoc Beam, Spazer Beam, Force Beam, and Solar Beam
* Custom melee where Samus concentrates her beam into a sword and slashes her opponents
* Speedboost ability, and double-jump
* Conversions of Super Metroid and Metroid Prime maps
* Custom Maps based off the Metroid Universe
* And much more!

Welcome to our newly set up ModDB page. We've been at www.playmetroidonline.com for months now, but we finally are up here and ready to show off what we can do! We are a mod for Halo Custom Edition that is trying to recreate Metroid online multiplayer, like what is seen in the newly released game "Metroid Prime:Hunters".
We are currently working on finishing up a public beta for everyone, and as you can see in our image gallery, we are one of the few "Metroid" mods that can boast an actual playable build that you can see with your own two eyes. We have lended a couple models (but not our Samus) to Metroid: Revolution(s), so don't be alarmed if you see some of our work in their hands. They were less than grateful and entirely disrespectful, but alas.. we can't take back the file transfer. I ultimately wish them luck in what they set out to accomplish with their mod.
I hope you fans stick around, we are currently in a slow period, but that doesn't mean we aren't still working on stuff! Eye candy is in the works, and I'll post it on our site and here as well; as soon as we get some for your senses to taste.

Nothing single-player is currently planned. We don't wish to get ourselves into legal trouble. We enjoy what Retro produced with Prime and we don't want to take any claims for ourselves with their Intellectual property by creating a single-player experience. Sorry, but no can do guys.

if they make a solo thing like the smt mod 4 example it would prob bring there % down to like 20 or 30% and you prob wouldent get multiplayer maps 4 a while. i would like a solo but not 4 the time it is going to cost to get it
