METRO
Is a mod for Fallout 3, partly based off the game and book Metro 2033. The idea is that Vault Tec never existed, so neither did the vaults. China bombed the United States on surprise, and the only survivors were those deep underground in the Metro system in Washington DC. The world above is a radioactive wasteland, unsuitable for human life. Those people and animals that were above ground when the bombs fell died, or were mutated into monsters. Now the survivors hide underground, fighting for survival against raiders and thieves, and the monsters hiding in the dark. At the moment there are no planned quests, just a large under and above ground map, with people and shops to buy new weapons. The idea so far is that you just free roam, killing monsters and getting new gear. Quests will probably be added in the future, whether theres a large storyline, or just some side quests.

For this mod to work, you must not only have Fallout 3, but also The Pitt DLC, as many things from it are being used.

I never really found metro to be all that interesting but this mod looks like it could be.
Is it possible to add a cart thing that would go over the rails? If you'd find an expert programmer, I'm pretty sure he could make it.
Uhh well, the maps won't really be designed for something like that, so no.

The bigger map you will made - more nteresting the mod would be.
and also : railways looks like a one side way. i mean in one tonnel there mus be two railway lines(forward and backward lines)even if the story runs inside a secret gov. lines inside subway
It's hard to explain how the map will be, basically, it will be a bunch of interiors all connected together with doors, to I guess simulate a large map, but really will be a lot of small ones.The reason for this is I add lots of detail to the maps, which takes up space. There is a percentage on fullness for the map, going over 100% will cause the game to lag while playing there, and that small map you see in the images, is already at around 65-70%. And about the railings, I use what the game gives me. Bethesda made the metro have only 1 railing, so that's how it will be.
