This is Half-Life 2 modification based on the 1991 MSX2 game "Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake". MG2:SS is a critically acclaimed game which has managed to age well, but is trapped inside another gen. Its potentials are so many, that we thought it was our duty to bring it over to this generation. Intriguing story with plot twists and (hopefully) original and Tactical Espionage Action gameplay is what we are aiming at.
We're facing issues with releasing the game, but regardless, it is an ambitious project.

After a long hiatius, we're picking up the pieces again. We have a new forum, since the old one died. Coding has moved a bit further and the basic part of it is mostly done. We're lacking staff for mapping, modeling and texturing, which is our next focus, but we're still going.
Join up the new forum and have fun. We depend on your support.

Hey guys. Just commenting to tell you that we finished the game, and the singleplayer is currently running at about 3 hours of playtime. The bad news is, Konami sent us a cease and desist, so we can't release it to you anymore.
Goddammit Neo, your so damn lazy with this mod...
Hope you get more members on the team, if you haven't already, because this is set to be an awesome Mod if you finish it.
the fact that this is a younger snake
Are you going to recreate the game or are you going to make new missions?
Snake should be a tab bit... wider at the waist, have a squarer chin and a bit more hair
Is this mod going to be first person or third person or both. I think it would be nice if it was both. I have always dreamed of playing Metal Gear in first person, but I do like the gameplay of playing in thirdperson. But it would be nice to run around in first person......
Added a couple of weapons pics, namely the m79 Grenade Launcher and the M4a1 w/silencer.
Oh and that's a super stellar models. Can't wait to see teh metal gear done.
