The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.

Only generated so far, no hand details yet. MERP starts in the time when Isengard is still nice and green.
Damn... that's goddamn pretty!
makes me want to go hunting with my bow!
Right? I wish regular Skyrim was more like this.
This is the only Mod/Game that's given me all my desired feelings and more. Just with pictures, AND IT'S A MOD. Amazing work to the team, Truly. This is the only thing remotely close to the true adventure feel to my eye's. IT'S JUST SUCH EYE CANDY.
hey, it's not just pictures!...
There's music too :P
Looks great!
Already looks amazing...so uh-wats the performance hit?
On it's own? Not that much in this area. With all that ENB turned on? That's another story...
The ENB settings I used for this are quite light. There is some performance hit in this area, because our custom trees are too high poly at the moment. We'll surely do optimizations before we release to ensure good performance (and also provide optional HD packs for those with beast machines).
I have an unlocked 6950, i5 2500k and 4 gb of RAM. What level of performace can I expect?
Also, would it be possible to ask Bethesda for permission to use vegetation from Oblivion if you are in need of something else than pine trees? How about making the mod require both games in order to have more resources?Could that work?
We already have several types of oaks in game we have made.
Besides, the model types and styles are so fundamentally different, it would never work. Besides, Oblivion's trees are Speedtree, Skyrim's aren't.
We wants more pictures, preciarous
Beatiful veaw.
